I'm at 96%, still can't beat the extreme challenge where you beat the guys on the electrifying floor. I just can't make in in time, in the last round you have like 50 seconds to take down 15 guys.

How long did it take to complete 100% for you?

Spent 4 days on it (but to be fair, I restarted from 2nd scarecrow).

Average of 5-6 hours. hmmm....
not really sure, something like that.

Wait, you retired a challenge, and still got 100%? So getting at least one score is not a must, but merely playing? Laughing

Anyone see if setting the directx10 to true in the engine.ini does anything?

I beat it by building up combo points up to 5, then using the special ground move, instantly beating one guy, then timing two regular strikes again to instantly get to 5 combo points again. So each two hits meant I could take one down immediately afterwards.

I'm struggling to get the 9x variation bonus into the routine without losing the combo streak now Smile I just want to see a 'perfect' match that way.

I have 9x variation everytime. Here's my guide:

- Wait for a guy to attack you
- Counter his attack, hit him one time
- Use cape on the same guy, then jump over him
- Use the quick batarang, and immediately after- the batclaw
- use normal hits till you can use the special moves, use 1 throw, 1 combat takedown and 1 floor takedown
- Be happy with additional 5000 points.

yeah dont forget the 2*2 back kick followed by the swinging punch together take 5 out in one go, then a low slide to the left, and you should get a nice 9/9/9/9/9 score from all the judges..

Perfect match would be getting the 1000 points for the perfect combat flow bonus for each round (i.e. one single combo for the entire round), and I thing there's an uber perfect combat flow bonus for doing all rounds perfect. I don't even believe such a thing is possible in extreme shock and awe. Laughing

FYI, we found the problem and the fix for anyone that is getting crashes during the Gordon cutscene and in other areas. The patcher for the 1.1 patch doesn't seem to patch correctly on many systems, and doesn't overwrite the older files in many cases.

I can't figure this out. I followed the Eidos website...cut all files out of Batman AA folder. Ran patch...then took temp files put back into Batman AA folder.

This is where things are confusing. when you paste them back...the Eidos stuff says to not overwrite. So..I kept hitting "no" to copy or move folder.

So I then ran the game...and it still says version 1.00...but the Phsyx option is not grayed out.

Why can't I get the game to patch to 1.1?

Should I delete the D2D version and install Reloaded?

nit

Just follow the directions. Pretty simple. Move the files. Run patcher. Move files back. Don't move any files that require you to 'Overwrite' as you would then be just moving back all the old files and not keeping the new files. It's even easier with Vista because you just trash everything and run the patcher. Then just 'Restore All' in the recycle bin and don't overwrite anything.

If you are too simple minded to follow these directions, then just wait for a fixed 1.1 patch that should come out tommarrow once the devs release it.

does the fixed crack work with this? After I delete the files..run patch 1.1...put files back (without overwriting)...do I then re-copy the crack?

And I really don't see why you needed to throw in the "simple minded" crack. Just asking a question.

Nit

My fix is only for people who are having the crashes ingame which start at the Gordon cutscene while PhysX is 'On'. If you aren't having issues, then you don't need to do it.

Ok....I did everything you said to do...but now I get this error:

wxmsw28u_core_vc_custom.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Any ideas now?

It looks like I was just able to launch the download of the Insane Night Pack thru the Windows Live interface. 267 MB

Funny thing is I went there just because it was not signing into live ingame.

Installing

Yep, working ingame

Fun game but the fights seem abit easy on normal. Though I am still early in the game so far. Thinking of bumping it to hard but are there any unfair frustrating fights in that setting?
If you guys were to play throgh again would it be the normal or hard setting then?
