Hope you can read Japanese ... and if you can; I hate and envy you.

FM5 was only ever released in Japan.

(has the final fan-trans patch been released yet?)

Ya,last patch is out even though it's a beta version. But I'll take that while waiting for the final version. Razz

The World Ends With You, Now Playble With Dsmemu
in the newest versions,it's no longer freeze in the cut scenes after the escape from the frogs.
http://cid-ec92aae47a89073b.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Emulation/Desmume?view=details
I know it's already working with n$gba
but the advantage of this emulator is there is always new versions
and it's continue to be developed, and some games are working/working better
then n$gba.
it's not the n$gba is bad,it's that there is no more new versions to this emulator.

How well does it run with Dsmemu? With n$gba there were black objects everywhere and textures flickering if i remember correctly.

Dolphin x64 4311 (archive claims 4312, yet emulator reports 4311, so that's what it is Razz) offers quite substantial performance boosts for Zelda TP on the GC. 30fps at all times except Hyrule Town and Forest, whereas they're around 27fps now as opposed to teens)

Pretty much full speed with zero graphics glitches. Sound works too.

.... kinda pissed at myself for deleting Dead Space now, should've waited and tested it on the new Dolphin first. Meh.

Lag-fest...? On a 30fps game? Razz

Nah mate, it really isn't. In fact, it's perfectly playable and you won't even notice it unless you're looking for it.

No idea if they run full speed but they aren't better than PC version. PC version looks far better with antialiasing and AF. The only downside on PC version is horrible quality cutscenes, but you can get high quality replacement cutscenes.

Does Pokesav work with desmume saves? I tested the emu a bit and it's way better than that pos no$gba, but the saves seem incompatible.

And no it's not for me. Razz

SACRILEGE!

Hehehe. Seriously though, it's horses for courses. NoCash handles some games much better, while DeSmuMe handles others, while iDeaS handles yet more.

Yeah but the latest no$gba doesn't have save states, turbo button (or well, there is but it's not remappable pfft) gfx filters or even a proper built-in zoom, all of which should be mandatory really.

Plus on the computer I need the emu to work in the sound is a bit distorted with no$gba - in desmume it's perfect.

Yeah and it always crashes the rom when loading the snapshot for me. Very Happy

But no matter, it's for my niece anyway since she for some reason likes pokemon... I keep to the NES/Sega/SNES era myself. Smile

I aint to sure on the comparative specs of the Wii and the Xbox but I believe there pretty close, the way DOLPHIN is coming along nowadays I wonder how hard it would be to make an Xbox Emu now? its the only old console which seems to have never gotten an Emu or atleast not for a long time ie Xeon and Cxbx..shame

Been away a looooong time from emulation on PC (last thing i played was probably some N64 games, like 4 years ago). Some questions:

* is it possible to play mario kart (Wii) yet ?
* i've seen people using Wii-controllers, on PC? maybe just fake?

/ sorry for my n00bish questions Very Happy

Mario Kart is playable and can be full speed with a fast processor (your 4.2Ghz E8400 will eat the emulator alive ^_^) and yes, you can connect a Wiimote to your PC;

Don't get me wrong, there's far more non-perfect/playable/working games than their are actually working - but the emulator is still a massive feat and is coming along nicely! Zelda TP is fully playable now, too. I get fullspeed 99% of the time on my 3.6Ghz E7200, so you should get fullspeed all the time on yours, I reckon.
