I don't think it will be $20 this year. Since it will contain all the online features etc., we could expect it to cost 40-50$.

Sorry, should have mentioned in the US and also that I am looking for a digital download source. I can't seem to order the friggin thing from Gamestop. Hopefully they'll get a few in stock. If not, I'm sure I can find it at Walmart or Best Buy I guess.

xbox owners already have a release a week before retail.I guess this happened because stores in NY and Chicago as always sell earlier the nba2k series.
I'm glad they are offering it on Steam. At least you can bet the game will get patches and shit that way. Besides, I don't know why, but despite all the features and great value, I can't even pre-order this thing from my local Gamestop. With Steam, we'll get to play it on the 12th and not have to wait for shipping and/or a bad DVD. I think this game is going to be awesome. I just hope the sound issues like the ball bouncing have been fixed.
Got the e-mail from 2K announcing it's out on stores now... But we have neither a release, nor is it in stores here (Greece, gets released on the 9th). Got excited too soon.
Is Steam unlock date location dependent? If not, what's the point of getting it on Steam and waiting 3 more days?
