Sektion 8 , while not completly bad or anything, reminded me of a dumbed down Tribes 2 ( i obviously dissmiss tribes:vengeance, cause , well , you know).
+ while the beta ran fine, i wasnt even to start the full game lol.

@qwebob - the 'hotkey' is changable.. perhaps you were drunk and changed it..
on my one, the 'hotkey' is changable, microsoft call it the 'guide key'
seems, on mine it was the home key but it can also be...

Finished the game yesterday...i can't believe how easy The Joker was :/ I actually had more problems with Ivy or the battle before Joker (thugs + Venom thugs).
Still, the game rocks and kicks ass!

I press X, but nothing really happens, except the blue tinted detective mode activates and then I see no fingerprint stuff near these two guys and a joker box with a glove.

Damn as I understand it, I have to go to doctor's office and scan her fingerprints, and go back, otherwise the game will block me from progressing any further. FUCK!

That's exactly what I told you. You don't know what fingerprints dr. Young has, so how the hell would you know in which book she has hidden the stuff?

I don't see how you can skip the whole 'detective mode scanning'. The game practically does it for you, all you have to do is hold the A button for 5 seconds...
Unless you just play in a blind rush gogogogo and never once stop to take in what's going on around you...

You have to backtrack quite a bit, just follow the trail of the newly-spawned thugs, you'll find it eventually.

I watched one youtube video of that spot and the user who uploaded the video wrote in the annotations that you had to find that room otherwise you would get stuck. Thank god its not a crack/game bug I initialy though.
EDIT:
ok I found the room finally and passed the fingerprint mission, so now my Xvision is green, but I do not like the overlay. I remember I disabled this in Crysis, but this game has no SDK.

So.. about the PhysX vs Havok thing.. shall we revisit it?

It turns out that AMD needs a license from intel (who owns Havok) to use the GPU accelerated version of Havok and all the GPU techdemos they released so far were in fact running on... the CPU because they do not have such a licence. Also AMD says they do not feel that there's any need to buy a licence = ATI's GPUs won't support Havok!
Conclusion: AMD does not want to pay either nvidia or intel for a licence and the physics engines they will support with their GPUs are the ones like Bullet, etc which have a very low marketshare.
And then like you peoples were all like, "YOU IS TROLLIN!" and I was like "I AM NOT TROLLING!! I AM guess_who_kthxbai YOU SEE! Mm!"
