ignore list grows again
I mean.. no doubt gt5 will be great but saying one owns the other at this point is just stupid by anyone's standards.

Lol. GT5 and own only belongs together in one sentence:
Only people with about $500 will own GT5, in order to afford all the extra tracks and cars the Sony will make you buy. That's how gt5 will own
(I'm totally joking of course, I'm sure MS will also have plenty of buyable cars and tracks)
More seriously, I'm having trouble understanding how you guys are harping on the visuals in this demo. Did you not let the camera do it's flyby intro of the course? I play this game entirely in cockpit view, and my wife was watching me. She exclaimed during the race "Hey, that's a Cadillac behind you! Look in your rear view mirror, see the hood emblem!" I mean, you could literally make out the distinct shape and individual colours on the emblem. Suffice to say the texture resolution in this game is incredible, and I wish I could get the opening track flyby as a screensaver.
Anyway, I wanted to laugh to I set the difficulty to Realistic or whatever it is that adds a clutch to the manual shifting. I found it hilarious that as I would shift without using the clutch my cars would make this huge "BANG" and I'd watch as my transmission actually starting taking damage. Freaking hard as hell to properly drive though. Does the 360 wheel have a clutch pedal as well as brake and gas? Might have to invest in it if it does.
i can has computar?!

What experience have you had with cars Sniper? i'm not trying to be clever with you, i just wondered what you have driven irl... cheers :¬)

ok, in the spirit of giving it a chance, I have just played 3 rounds. I turned the difficulty up a lot. it plays not bad, but you never really feel like you are racing, the cars seem to float. and it does feel more arcade, hell, I can play it and I'm no great driver ( I am in real life, I'm awesome, I was in a heavily modified RS6 the other day 500+hp, scariest thing ever by the way)
there was quite a nice bit where I had a bad crash and from inside the cockpit i seemed to get thrown around a lot which was nice. And the way you move forward as you brake is quite good.
But this next bit is unbelievable, WHERE IS THE WINDSCREEN? there is nothing there, that is seriously unrealistic. I'm sure any developer could get 60fps by leaving big chunks of graphics out.
come on Forza guys, play the game....

according to a post on the forza forums the demo is made from the final code , so the driving will feel like it feels in the demo , so for the people who dont like the driving feeling , bad luck .

Driving feels great so what's the problem? It's not like Shift where you have to tweak sensitivity for an hour before you can have some decent racing experience.

The start is done badly, again. Also simulation damage is way too forgiving.
Besides that I (will) love the game.

the M$ one just has paddle shifters and no clutch, so if you want a real shifter and clutch pedal you'll need the fairly more expensive logitech G25...

One of the first reviews of FORZA 3 is out courtesy of the French version of OXM. According to JVN, the magazine awarded the game 19/20 and had nothing but solid praise for the sim racer. |

Yeah, OXM. Who cares about their reviews? Not that I think FM3 sucks, it's probably great. But even if it was crap, OXM would rate it high.

Im sorry but americans aint allowed to have any sort of valid point to make about car handeling. When you start making cars that can go around corners then maybe the rest of the world might listen. Untill then go play nascar or somthing that only reqires the ability to turn left.
Now back to the game, if you have a decnt wheel and seat setup the driving feels pretty realistic. Raceing games will allways feel somewhat arcadey if you play with a pad.

Are MS going to add drivers for this wheel? As I thought it didnt work on the 360?
