I'm pretty sure myself that this will not come close to ARMA 2. Mainly because of the fact that realism is one of their main selling points, but they've shown us nothing but unrealistic videos so far. |
Getting killed with few shots in ArmA is the only realism I've noticed so far.
I wouldn't call super AI or tanks flipping into fucking air after colliding a good realism simulation.
By the way, I have bought ArmA2, so I wouldn't call myself a OpF2 fan or defender. I eaven grinded my teeth and completed ArmA2. |
you dont complete arma2....

What a bad decision.
Won't buy that crap again.
I cannot understand why it has the following it does.
It is so annoying not being able to get in a certain vechile.
Why don't they just allow any1 to get in any vechile.
Waaaaaaaayyyy the simulated this game.
Probably worse then real life lol.
Anyway, this game is the sorta game i like by the look's of it.
Might buy it. |
You have horrible taste in games tbh. That, and your english is barely readable. |
Game is shit imo.

All to there own.

Sure looks sweet, I like what they did.
In the review there were to many 'defend this' missions, imo not a very good idea for a game such as this.

Wrong,
Its never complete it just gets better with each new title released. It will be here long after Crudmasters has moved on.Military contracts insure that(VBS).OFP1/Arma 1-2 is just a continuing saga of goodness.

Looking forward to this one. I enjoyed OFP1 extensively, and it doesn't look like they took the CoD4 path with this one.
I wanted to like ArmA2, but without a high-end PC, it's so poorly optimized it's just unplayable. Even on Medium-Low settings.

it still happens today with arma2
the cracks do not remove fade protection
but if you have a valid key, fade does not get triggered
but people still cry and whine about it, unaware

Well, i got the review copy of OFP Dragon Rising PC version and how they could give it 9/10 is way beyond me. It's not that good. Movement feels strange and the whole view feels zoomed. The PC version is also a direct port meaning the game will probably be better on a console. AI is stupid. It feels like they didn't tweak AI for PC and i never get the feeling of being in a war. As i said...Dragon Rising will probably be better on a console. I haven't tried online yet due to the lack of servers and reviewers playing but i think online will probably bee the good part of this game.
As a total package, ArmA 2 beats the crap out of Dragon Rising for me.
