Played Batman Arkham Asylum on a ATI 4850 all maxed out (except physx of course) at a silky framerate and had an enjoyable experience and if u ask me that's all that matters.

Cry some more, people who bought ATI cards. You simply made the wrong choice.

Begone evil fanboyish pikachu.

I read several articles about this 'reactor'. Even if it is true I'm not overally hyped to spend 1000$ on GPU only. On the side, going with the thinking, do you think that Intel and AMD both have CPUs that are powerful enough not to slow down this monster?

You don't know the price of this beast, so...

For example it might cost +100$ more than the Ati cards and offer x2 the processing power. I wouldn't call it expensive this way.

Let's not forget that the picture of the card is that of the Tesla version which is for medical use, not gaming, and the specs they released are mostly of the Tesla card too, I think. For example I'm sure that the gaming (Geforce) version won't have 6GB VRAM etc which will make it alot cheaper.

Also, console owners used to say "oh, I do not care how you had a superior gaming experience than me on your PC, I enjoyed the game just fine on my inferior console"

Now ati owners have started to use the same argument when it comes to PhysX games? Then I hope they do not boast about their ati dx11 card, if they get one.

And then like you peoples were all like, "YOU IS TROLLIN!" and I was like "I AM NOT TROLLING!! I AM guess_who_kthxbai YOU SEE! Mm!"

Nah, it's you who seem to misunderstand posts here.

To me it's more like logically thinking PC users, who care no shit if they have ATI or nV under the hood as long as they have fun when playing games they love/admire raise their voices in fanboyish discussion of several people, who as always, try to sell as much ad shit as possible.

Dude, I don't care if the card has 6 or even 12gigs of ram since I'm still having fun with my good old 8800GT. My dick won't go WTC just because I have just spent 1000$ on 6-kg-heavy piece of silicon which I obviously won't be able to use for another 3-4 years because GAMES are too inferior... Buying hadrware 'in advance' is a waste of... everying. Including grey brain cells.

I don't see why people find G4WL so hard to use. Doesn't it even tell you "If you don't log in, you won't be able to save?" It's not that hard to understand and it's not that hard to press the Home key and set an offline account.

Nope i didnt.i log in and after that it gives me a warning that i cant save.I thought maybe the error came before i could log in and just proceed.I played for some time and quit. Wanted to play again later and nothing I did was saved. I even had to choose my difficulty level again.

Why underdog? It's been pretty heavily advertised, there has been huge amounts of buzz in the press about it, and it seemed to be a financial success from the start. Nothing underdog about it.

Maybe to you. But for me, hearing about a batman game doesnt really get me interested, no matter how mutch advertisment or hype.

FOR ME, this game turned out way better then i ever imagine it to do.

One is not the other Wink This was never an underdog, you preference or predefined expectations may have been changed upon your playing the game - but it was never an underdog.

Hehe, you can visit wikipedia all you want, but this game was an underdog for me. An underdog if you compare it to other games, that is.

Those fancy words written on wikipedia doesnt mean shit.

Wink

No im not wrong, thats the thing. I dont start a debate using some fancy words from wiki...oh sorry, Princeton.

I use the word underdog to express that this game was infact an underdog compared to other games, and i thought it would be just another crappy "movie to videogame" release.

If the word "underdog" has some special super faggy meaning from Princeton, that i dont know about, then im sooooo sorry. But in the end, it was an underdog to me. And i dont care what you or Princeton thinks Rolling Eyes

Whether or not a game is an underdog is not a subjective opinion.

If it had low expectations and came out great it was an underdog.

According to all the hype and the great first impressions before the release (which were mostly positive by a vast majority) it had high expectations. It delivered.

That is all.

Being honest all that you're saying is that YOU thought it was going to be shit. Pretty much everyone else expected it to be great. And it was.

yay I completed the game. Tha game was quite good and Riddler's chalanges were addictive. Controls were pretty good [for a console port], except those parts where you have to fight big monsters or scarecrow... the camera turns into izometric and it just sucks, because I'm not a console gamer and I'm not used to this crap. The graphics were not very good, they looked outdated, I felt like I was playing Bioshock or Gears of War all over again. The game has that grainy fuzzy typical unreal engine look which I hate. Also the game is infested with Windows Live [which I hate], and I wonder if savegame backups are possible, since this Windows Live service goes down will I be able to load and save my games after 1-2 years. The game had two harder battles- Ivy and electroshock. Joker was easy to beat. Also the game seems to be very rich in content. And what I hated most was that you couldnt change graphical options ingame, you had to wait for it to save, quit, change and then relaunch, typical for a console game. Joker's voice was realy good. 8,9/10. Very Happy

Want to know something funny? That card is a fake.

Seriously. The news is all over the place now. They made a fake card to show off. All their demos are being done on old hardware.

I had a serious LOL a few days ago, when I read that out of 400 manufactured chips, 7 came out valid. Laughing
