By the way, people who have steam can join the cracked servers aswell, just apply the -console next to the shortcut's target, then the rest should be fine. I've tested it with some people who have the purchased copy of the game.

Has anyone finished the single player or coop crash course ? Why does it only have 2 maps, is it 1/3 of the length of the standard 4 campaigns ?

Yes it's shorter, took us 30 mins on the first go.

Wow, it was fun playing again after a 6 month hiatus, but it was so short. I couldn't tell it from certain parts of No Mercy. This is disappointing and to think the X360 crowd had to pay for it! Uhhgggg! Glad I didn't pay for this. I am highly anticipating L4D2!! Crash Course didn't work for me, but it doesn't matter because no one, I mean no one will be playing this in 6 weeks anyway.
Thanks Valve, but no thanks, give us some HL2EP3 news please!

They mentioned that this map is geared more toward Versus, apparently Versus games were too long, thus making Crash Course shorter.
It's shorter, but not super short, just because the distance between the safe houses is increased.

I think the map is alright, and newstuff is nothing to get upset cause its short, we already knew that when they announced and said its for versus..

The preorder is now available at 10% off, for $44.99!!! I just purchased my preorder and cannot wait for this to be released. It will be nice to get the Baseball Bat and to play the demo early as well.
New Boss Infected
* The Charger, an infected with one arm beefier than the other, can move quickly and knock players in its path off their feet. It can also grab players and smash them against the ground to deal major damage.
* The Spitter, an infected that projects balls of mutated phlegm that splatter across an area, eroding the survivors' health as long as they remain within it.
* The Jockey, an infected that is able to jump onto the back of a survivor and steer them towards other infected or traps set by the game.
* Wandering Witch, Witch's behavior in daytime levels and she will now wander around the level instead of being stationary as in the first game.

Seen in The Parish
* Hazmat suit infected, an infected clothed in a fire-proof Hazmat suit. Incendiary bullets act as normal bullets, and do regular damage.
* Riot gear infected, an infected wielding riot gear and is thus impervious to bullets fired at its front. Its back is still vulnerable.
Seen in Swamp Fever
* Mud Men, an infected that prowls through the swamp, and throws mud at the survivors. This mud almost completely obscures the stricken player's vision.
Seen in Dark Carnival
* The Clown, an infected who was once an entertainer for fairs, and is still dressed as a comical clown. Its squeaky shoes attract infected, but it usually doesn't attack head on.

I can understand this comment, but one thing that will really change the gameplay is the spitter!! Right now L4D turns into a 4 person fortress that is built in a corner. Everything that goes towards it is obliterated even the tank if it's far enough away or especially on fire. No more 4 person fortresses, which will really open up the gameplay and make it more interesting.

yeah, but it's just another reason to be pissed because this problem should have been fixed in l4d. instead, they keep problems like that in l4d to get more people to buy l4d2.
there's really no other explanation for it. can't be so hard to make smoker smoke damage people or something at least.
