I like dungeon crawling, but it's sad when a game becomes ONLY dungeon crawling without anything else. If i wanted that, i would have played diablo, or Oblivion with its endless, uninspired dungeons. No turns in the story, no quests, no nothing. It was booooring as hell for me, barely managed to get through all of this to the end, esspecially since it happened after chapter 3, which was, in itself, one long (not boring though, not that) dungeon.
Balance is important in gameplay, imo. A bit of dungeon crawling, a bit of questing and story, not either - either.

I've finally crafted bastard sword... blah... i thought it is one and half hander and I will be able to use shield too. Blah..

You can use it in one hand when you train swords to 5, 2 handers comes at 9 I think it was.

I have problem with dungeons where I need to find armor pieces. One dungeon is in Don's camp but there are 2 pedestals and I can't find any busts to place it on them. The next dungeon is behind a waterfall and I have no idea how to lower the bridge over lava. There is a switch on the wall but that opens a grate or smth.

Not too sure if that is the same part I am thinking of though.

I think you need telekinesis spell for the winch or just levitate to the winch.

Try looking for other paths.. there are places to go. None of the puzzles in this game required much thought, not nearly enough to run to a forum for help.
I mean, I know I'm good and all.. but not that good. I found all the 'puzzles' to be fucking simplistic and obvious. All the busts are nearby in handy locations. Was quite disappointing tbh.

I spent an hour looking for other paths. I even have a map. But other paths are locked and I can't find any switches to open them. And I don't really care about "running" for help as you put it since my pride won't be hurt by asking for it on the forum.

there is a reason why the doors and switches on the map are color coded. btw, you can press all switches multiple times.

I have 2/5 of the Titan Armor now, both pieces I'd really like to use - but of course can't without Ursegor's armor. Is the armor one of the pieces, or do you get it only after first gathering the 5 pieces? That is, could I go get the armor next and wear the others before getting the final two?

The pieces are the armor...you have to get all 5 including the big ass Titan Warhammer to make the suit of armor.

you can change movement speeds in console with edit pc_hero, somewhere under parameters and then movement.
you can use that for levitation distance and speeds as well.
