We will not have a release in Greece on the 9th.The stores are too lazy to change the date.Earlier release date for Greece is now 15th of October.

Oh nice, might see a scene release soon then? perhaps tomorrow?
Think we'll have the same problems as the 360 version is having? framerate droping when playing post etc..

From what I know, the official release date is 12th (USA) and 14th (Europe).
As for the framerate drops, I don't think we''ll have it, unless it's an internal code issue

Early release I guess. If it's out in Athens, I guess the 9th stands as a release date for chain stores such as Plaisio and E-Shop so that I can get it here in Patras too.

I guess the early release date stands for many countries. Shops around the world open up having the game available for sale as users in the official forums report.

Still shows up as a pre-order for me. On a second note, it should be available to download in 2 hours for me, since it'll be 9th of October. Too bad there's no money on my prepaid.

I've just bought it and am downloading it from GamersGate, but man, I haven't seen such bad speeds in quite a while. 26KB/s? Seriously?

Well, anyhow, even if speeds don't improve I'm guessing I'll be getting it from a private tracker or whatnot, and using the official serial for online.
But come to think of it, where the hell is the serial? It's not under the game's name...
So... Free-for-pirates online in NBA 2K10 PC, or is it just GamersGate's mistake?

From what I read on the "Game Tutor" a.k.a. forums, the serial is either revealed after the official release date/time, otherwise you can get it by e-mailing support, if for some reason it doesn't show up.
EDIT: 50MBs downloaded so far. The game's so much closer ...not. 40 kilobytes per second reminds me of when ADSL was making its first appearance in Greece, and our home getting a sturdy 384kbps connection. Quite an upgrade over dial-up. 40KB/s seemed like an extreme at the time.
