Hello,
I have my PC connected to my LCD TV with a HDMI cable. I would like to know how do you record videos from the TV to the hard disk. Thank you.

Connecting the PC to the TV with HDMI only allows you put a picture from the PC to the TV, but unfortunately, not the other way around. You will need a video capture card to input video from external sources (like cable, satellite, etc). Cards with HDMI input are generally more expensive.

Here is an example:

But it costs $199.

First of all, I am sorry about the typo. Also, I would like to know. I am able to capture videos from a camcorder through USB without a capture card. Can this be done with the TV also? Also anyone know a good program to download Youtube videos?

For youtube, you can use the Download Helper extension for Firefox.

For recording, what kind of a signal are you talking about? There are very cheap analog TV cards which can record, but quality is generally quite mediocre.
