Well, first impression are good. Sound is ace, the variety of tracks at the start is good. I can't see why anyone would complain about the graphics. Ok, at times the AA is non-existant (i.e. stadium against the horizon) but its smooth as hell.
My only complaint atm, and its super anal, is that none of the race cars (that I've found) have racing interiours. The minute I was in the Vitafone Massa it felt wrong (I stare at onboard footage of the car, well 2009 version, lots of weekends so i know it well). Its still got "stock" interior.

you can turn off traction control by changing the assists at the start of a race.
In terms of contrast and brightness, I haven't seen any options for this.

Can't install disk 2, only on the normal way: 'install game to hd', but that doesn't work so i cannot load the bonus content ( with the extra cars etc it seems as the game is still asking for it when starting it. Am i the only one who encountered this problem and do i need it to burn a third time, can't imagine that :S

It worked fine for me. I didnt put it in the first time, had to burn it later. But then I just went to the main menu and pressed "install disk 2" or something like that, it told me to insert DVD2 and it automatically detected it.

Is there any way to disable the auto-rev thing at the start of the race. It's most annoying.

I've read that is because it's a cut-scene, and as soon as you gain control (1 second before the start?) the game switches models to a lower detail.
BTW; How come I'm not seeing any photomode shots? Or NFOrce livery pictures?

good game - great to see they've improved the trackside details a lot since forza 2. no doubt it will get boring once you've tried a few cars, specced them up and seen all the tracks but hey nevermind.
more annoyed that they dont let you save the photos onto a flash drive, couldnt believe when i saw you had to do that uploading crap (with compression no doubt). why the fcuk couldnt we transfer them to a removable drive? they even include a usb stick with one of the versions i think - so whats that all about?!

all assisst off , even tires and fuel simulation , and traction control light still appears sometimes.
in forza 2 i had a crx with a turbo s2000 engine and 4 gear didnt had any grip , in this f3 traction control

Well if anybody finds out how to do this, please tell us.
I am really having trouble seeing the track. I cant really tell where the track is starting to curve until I am really close. I had to turn on the backlight and brightness way up on my tv, but now it looks washed up and not too great. I never have problems like that, the tv is 46 in and i sit only about 7 feet away. I dont know if they've done it on purpose to hide some shortcomings, but to me shift looks better on PC.
Though Im really liking the handling. Every car feels like it has a real weight to them, and taking a curve at the right speed with perfection is really awesome.
Im not seeing all that awesome, taunted AI in action. It seems like their strategy is to form an impenetrable wall in front of me, and let one car go in front (In my case its the red WV, it seems like in every single race, it is that car in front and the rest are blocking me). Being really aggressive is the only way to go, though I rack up dmg penalties in the thousand.
Overall, I am feeling a real case of dejavu, especially in the begging. The car might be different, but I traveled that track (CCW and CW) many, many times before in forza 2.
