So you're saying you don't bother to check anything after downloading?
There's really nothing magically special about "Scene Releases" you do
understand this right? In fact the chance is no greater of you wasting
a whole 1.50$ on your verb if you go ahead and grab this, you are aware
of this right?

I have to go with you on that. Scene is not like it use to be. Non-Scene seems to get things faster lately.

DNL release of brutal legend didn't work where as Marvel release worked like a charm.

I totally agree... people get this "idea" stuck in their head that scene releases are some how "name brand" warez. Even the release groups all have produced a bad rip at one point in the past. Just as long as the ripper rips the game properly..there is absolutely no difference between a p2p rip vs a scene rip...Sure a release group may proper a p2p rip but most of the time the reason for the "proper" is just because no other official release group released the game yet..they shun at p2p rips and in some ways i do understand because the "real" scene all started off in the ftp fxp scene but now days. ...To me..its all the same on how you get your goodies and besides.. a monkey can rip a 360 game..its not hard.
All of the release groups use exactly the same methods, hardware, etc to rip a 360 game. Hell any of us could start up a release group..its not very hard.. I've seen it all over the 12 years in being into the so called "scene" ...
Any of you guys remember "the blackhole"? The so called scene police message boards back in the day? By the way..maybe some of you guys remember Banana Juice? That was me ..i was all over the place back then in the underground ftp scene.

Oh, go ahead, tell me what's wrong with torrents?
I max my speed using torrents every time I use it. No matter what I download, I max my speed. It's easy, it's free. What's so bad about it? And don't tell me some shit about dumpsites or whatever being better. It's all the same shit. |
Usenet is far superior to torrents (minus the monthly fee). You can download anything at max speed of your connection, doesn't matter if what you download is 1 day old or 425 days old, you will get max speed anyway. Now if you want to get something that's 425 days old from torrent chances are you won't even find any active torrents, or some odd one with 1-2 seeds.
Another great usenet feature is SSL, it helps bypass ISP's bandwidth caps and increases security. And best of all you don't need to seed back, it's godsend for people with slow uploads. Then there is stability, torrent trackers and sites go down all the time, usenet providers have issues once every 2 years and they get solved in and hour or two.
Bottom line usenet is far superior for file sharing, the only real advantage torrents have is they are free.

Too be honest, the setting of this game looks like a pale copy of iD´s new game Rage. Let´s hope the game itself will not be.
