sorry ur system does not meet req to play the game so installer wont run? says i dont have windows 7 sp2 lmfao omg im dying in laughter.
Right looks like its still fine, but no patch and update servers to download client only on those days listed lol crazy..

Apparently leo it makes no diff, still installs and runs btw,, its just basically saying it cant see ur running something that is feasable for the game... either way all fine  just waiting for those login servers to go active...
Just thought might be interesting to discuss the game a bit when checking it out with some nforcers here on a voice app or something... looks really fun from the beta podcasts etc..

"Remembers me" when game launchers would see Pixel Shader 4 as less than PS3 and put a red X next to it.

You know, when the launcher compares the PC to the min specs, and it shows row by row, if your PC is compatible. And the req. for a GPU is "Pixel Shader 3 card" but I had a 8800GTX, which is a "Pixel Shader 4 card", so it would put a red X on that line, as if my card is not suitable.
Wow, I feel I have a bit lower IQ now that I posted this in such detail. |

as Playstion 3 lol thats why see you went from writing out pixel shader 4 to then abbrieviating it to PS3, confoosion ensues.

After being fortunate enough to be selected as a beta tester (for a change) I managed to play the test for four hours during last night's run.
During the initial connection to the social area of San Paro I was disconnected several times over the course of the first 45 mins, but this then settled down after the financial area of the city was opened for access. I spent about 20 mins customising the look of my criminal avatar, although with the depth of the customisation available I could easily have spent a lot more time tweaking the look.
Next it was off to the financial district where I spent the first 5 mins driving around, stealing cars, while also mowing down and shooting innocent bystanders just for the hell of it
On the outer edge of the city the basic cars felt fairly comfortable to control but as I approached a more crowded area of the city the lag on the control of the cars was fairly bad at times with a 3 sec delay on turning left/right. I was then called as backup for a fellow criminal who was trying to defend and area, but was soon gunned down due to the inadequacy of my pistol when faced with rifles and semi-automatics.
Off then to my first 'contact' where I completed a few missions i.e spaying graffiti, stealing and delivering cars etc whereby I managed to earn enough cash to purchase a semi-automatic. I was then called again as backup to defend an area which we managed to hold over about 10 mins due to a hail of bullets from the semi-automatic, some well placed shots from the pump action shotgun and some flash grenades
On the mission where I had to steal a high powered car for my contact it was fairly easy to control and I felt that the gap between the control of the basic cars and the powerful cars was far too great, with the basic cars being almost uncontrollabe at times, although lag would have contributed.
Toward the end of the test I managed to intercept a package of evidence that the enforcers were carrying before it got to it's final destination where there was a bounty which earned me a chunk of cash.
For a half finished game and an early beta test I was quite surprised how well the game played. Graphically I was very impressed with it, although gfx are not so important to me.
It was a fun four hours and I'm really looking forward to the next run.
