It's strange that so many have sound problems. I have an old soundblaster Live 5.1 which only supports Eax 2.0 and the latest driver i use is from 2003 and I haven't had a single issue.

I've had no sound issues at all on Realtek onboard sound, or any other issues for that matter.

For some reason I can't get this game to start. Installed, copied crack and had a missing dll error. I solved that error by installing DirectX End-User Runtime. Now the appears in the task manager for a couple of seconds (then disappears) and nothing happened. I'm using Win7 and tried several compatibility modes (winXP SP2 & 3, Vista SP 1&2) but I can't seem to launch it. Anyone had a similar issue and managed to solve it? It would be much appreciated Smile

I just did that. The setup informed me it didn't detect my card (which is normal, i don't have a physX card). Issue is unchanged.

The game isn't scary, but it certainly is atmospheric. It reminds me soo much of Condemned...

There are too few checkpoints though, I solved 2 puzzles

and because the combat system is shite beyond belief I died and have to do them all over again. I rage quitted actually. Laughing

They're not needed for anything AFAIK, they are just decorations.

Thank you so much. It took some time before i found out that "the physx thingy on the disc" had to be installed from the directory where the game is installed (I was looking for an addictional setupfile on the disc next to the rars).

pitch dark doesn't necessarily mean atmospheric

the environment looks like a dirty warehouse and i doubt it's gonna change. the combat is broken, the puzzles are boring, having to scour every locker for objects is even more boring, and running around in an almost pitch black labyrinth, without a map, is as fun as it sounds.
jigsaw's lines are completely stupid, just like the whole idea of a guy trying to get others to appreciate life by killing them.

the main guy's hilarious animation makes up a bit for the rest being shit, but i wouldn't recommend the download just based on that.

better watch the walkthrough and give playing this a miss.

Did you use your lighter? I can see perfectly fine with it..

Game is more fun then expected.

P.S. There is a map..

Combat is the only drawback, but once you get the hang of it it's fine. Makes sense having a 1 on 1 fight be life or death since you aren't a hero.. just a dude with no shoes on.

Installed and worked perfectly. No crashes so far. The only drawback I found was there was no option for 1920x1080 resolution support from within the main menu screen. This is ridiculous. How can they leave a 16:9 resolution out? Got it corrected by modifying the .ini file. Also is there a way to switch V-sync ON? I'm experiencing some heavy tearing issues.

I suggest using D3D Overrider from RivaTuner to force v-sync and triple buffering on. Smile

Yes, I've been using it for years and works great. Just have it running at the tray at all times and all games have vsync. Very Happy

Finished the game. The only downside for me was the combat system and most of the puzzles are repetitive.

There's only one ending movie from what I see but it's possible the actual game has multiple outcomes.

I read somewhere that I had to install the Aega Physx 2.4.0 drivers, which is not the same as the physX setup that came on the disc/install dir.

Ahh I see, perhaps I should have been clear earlier. So is it working now?
