I have this game for 2 days now, couldn't play it first with slide card. But there seems to be a way. Anyways I played it today. Dude this friggin game rox! That huge axe you are talking about. I had a axe like shit who was 3 meter or something. Slicing every fucking person down muihahahahhahaha This game pwns!

i heard theres a 60hz option somewhere. can anyone jot down the direction and button presses needed to get to 60hz if i can't see whats going on at 50hz

yea hell this game rocks, the fightin is great especially when you get to the gladiator part, slicing down enemies, limbs, heads, torsos flyin around, damn its so fun.
also the stealth part is great cuz the enemy ai is very good and there s lots of new ideas here like hiding items behind your back or wakin up enemies n stuff.
the graphics and animations are amazing, such texture detail and facial expressions while it still runs at perfect 60 fps, great.
one question here, i kinda got stuck, what do you have to do in the mission where you have to find marcus brutus? i cant get into the senate building cuz of the guards blockin the entrances.

Does anyone know for sure this is a retail copy release? 50hz mode runs extremely choppy, and I've noticed a few inconsistant stuff which seems like rather obvious bugs (Octavianus being different in cutscenes and ingame if you changed his haircut for instance). Or perhaps I'm being a bit paranoid after Champions: Return to Arms which is obviously a beta or promotional copy.

As you boot the game and just after you select language you can select "change video mode" and choose 60hz.

no beta i ve been playin for 7 hrs now not one single bug, perfect 60 hz, maybe only once a short slowdown

Each time you play the game you have to choose between 50 and 60 hz. The problem is te save is loaded after this select screen so you have to choose 60hz each time.
I am currently at 9 hours and i don't think the game is a beta.
The game is multi 5 too.
Each minute gives a chance to change our life

ID how did you pass the stealt level where you have to go trough the bandits to follow marcus brutus and his friend??? I'm stuck there.

talk to the guy standing in front of the entrance to the forum, then run up to the podium on the left side of the forum map and give a speech to make the ppl assault the senate house.

Use the banana peels. Throw one of them on the ground between you and a guard, then whistle for him and stay where you are. He'll come running right at you and slip on the banana peel. Repeat with all of the guards except for the last one, you have to dress up as a bandit and put on a bandit mask (one of the other bandits has it). After answering a question he'll let you through.

you didnt beat it yet, hmm, well there should be some apples around and a horse on the other side of the map.
throw the apple at the horse, problem solved.

hmmm...D_A_Kuja..i didnt see any horse..i think were not talking about the same thing...
im in a yard ...L shaped...u start at the south corner ...u have to get through the door on the north ...there is a guard ...who doesnt move from there..only walks left and right a bit..and next to him there r 3 rocks and about 5 crates ....no horse ...no apples yet...2 coins to collect but thats all...

ah that one, its easy, just throw the rocks at the wall to distract the guard,
hell look away for some time, use that opportunity to get to the door.

Though the only thing I did different was change DVD media from Memorex DVD-R 4x to Sony DVD+R 4x. I got stuck after the "New Game" screen at first, but now .I can play the game perfectly. Swap Magic CD seems to work for me. I just use Devil May Cry as the swap disc.
..after u kill the blondie in the chariot races and u go back to the boy...and after u tell the guard at the gate that marius sent u ...how do y sneak past the guard at the door ? u have 3 boxes and 2 stones...but he doesnt move no matter what i do ..
