Isnt it funny. So much talk about PC piracy, but yet there is a leaked xbox version 10 days before the official release. On every site i've been to, its the highest seeded and leeched torrent, or highest DLed nzb.
By their logic, next COD should be ps3 exclusive, where xbox and pc should be crippled to hell. Xbox and pc will have IW run servers, max 2vs 2 and IW person has to be present on every server to interview every single player just to make sure they didnt pirate the game. Or better yet make 1 IW run server, where people have to sign up in advance to play. They'll have to send ID, picture of the box from the game, 3 letters of recommendation stating that those people have never pirated anything in their lives, letter from their ISP showing every download for the last year, and of course $10 fee.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

Stop it! There is no damn piracy on teh consolz cause cliffy and friends said so.

On isohunt I can see that the leechers of the 360 version are about 530.
Let's see how much more the leachers of the PC version will be.
My guess is that they're going to be a whole lot more.

Well companies claim that "every noob can download the game and play it on his PC, because it's so easy to pirate a game on the PC" so I got the numbers from a public indexing service of trackers.

2k seeders on TL (2k already dled) about 1k dling. over 5K on NZBM. Plus a lot of people are waiting for a stealth rip, and dont want to fuck with this one.
But no doubt PC Dls will be a lot bigger. It is a lot easier, and PC community is just pissed off, so Im guessing a lot of people who wanted to buy it (including me) will just dl.

No point in including numbers from private trackers and usenet. These are most of the time "determined" pirates, they won't buy shit anyways.
Companies claim that now even the noobs can pirate the games so you got to check public torrents, because that's what the noobs use.

I was talking about private as to show that even on a private tracker, numbers are very large, so there is no point in talking about public stuff, it will obviously be a lot bigger once people will start uploading there.
Btw NZBM is not private, you do have to register, but it is free, no need for invite unlike TL.

Isnt it how it always works? You search for a tracker using some search engine. Then go there, and if its open you register and off you go, I dont see whats so hard about it. Hell, thats how I found TL when it was still taking registrations. Thats how I found NZBM too, I didnt know anything about nzbs before that, so I just googled. I think configuring the client is more difficult than dling, so Im not sure how you sister has done it WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTERS.
Sorry I am missing the point you are trying to make. My original post, on which you replied, was poking fun at the fact that even though console games are usually released well in advance, it's the pc that always gets screwed and blamed for piracy. If you go to official xbox forum, you'll see A LOT of posts about people getting banned, so I am thinking that piracy is not that small on xbox as some people believe.
Edit: Heh, just finished dling, and the game asked me if i want to skip a disturbing mission, im guessing thats the airport one.

Nothing wrong with that. I use public trackers all the time. I'm just not hardcore enough for all this private nonsense. Primarily a usenet user anyway.

All PC versions out until now on public trackers and forums are fake.
But something tells me that there ought to be a real PC leak in the following 2-3 days at most.
It's obvious that if the Xbox version was leaked 11 days ahead of time the PC version will also leak before the 10th.
This is unquestionably the most anticipated game of this year and probably one of the best games of all time.
Do you guys really think that during this week we won't all be playing MW2?

All the previews of the game indicate otherwise, everyone's saying that this is far better than MW1 on all it's fronts!
We've all been seeing the same vids, the GFX are superb, the SFX are perfect, Hans Zimmer always delivers nothing short of excellent!
If the SP and MP are just as intense as MW1 it's already a perfect game imo.
