azz you sure that's what got you banned? i have a box i've been running off the 12v leads on the dvd drive for over 2 years now with no ban. play copies on it but always offline. just curious really, i've heard that could get you in trouble but i always figured it was just bs.
also have 2 other friends who i did the 12v mod for and they are all ban free, so far.

Your xbox with 12v isnt banned and yet you say you play copies offline , well no wonder you still not banned.

I never said anything about patching the SS, I said patch the PFI. And I never said anything about taking it online either.
The TL release's SS and DMI are ok, but the PFI is fucked up so it won't boot on 1.61 without the activate.iso disc. I know of a few people with 1.6 who don't realise this and are already playing it online.

Someone mentioned it took them 7h 5m and 11s on Hardened difficulty. I don't think thats particularly short, it just ensures the action carries on and the game doesn't replay old ideas.
I'm personally going straight into verteran so figure add a couple more hours on playtime.
I didn't bother with COD:WaW single player at all, this time I don't think I can avoid it as everyone is saying how good it is.

sure but i play stuff ahead of release dates and get online afterwards, etc. even play bad rips, i don't care. from what he said i got the impression he was banned because of his 12v mod.

I ran a 12V line from the mobo, so my 360 was running with no fan as far as the system monitoring was concerned. I have read other people were banned for this also. The sucker was not modded. I had two machines, this one was the first one I purchased at launch and it did the RROD and I repaired it and I was banned. So I assume it was the fan mod. Been a big day, few brews sorry for lack of structure in post

Makes sense to be honest. Didn't MS do bans on the original Xbox due to hardware mods?

People should stop bitching and moaning about campaign length, this game is primarily a multiplayer game, and it's a great bonus that it has a worthwhile single player too.
