Im thinkin about buying a LCD monitor, the best one i could find for the price i can pay is Samsung 710N. Is that a good one for games, dvd, internet? I also found the 710N-2, what would be the difference between these?

Both have only VGA connections, and my vidcard has both VGA and DVI, so i would like to know if the 710T version (DVI) would have any real advantage in image quality or performance? The 710T is much harder to find here, and probably more expensive too.... would it be worth it?

Yes, DVI brings much better quality and power savings. I noticed some difference in sharpness after buying a dvi cable (my monitor only came with a vga one). And yes It's worth it.

definitively Wink

DVI does the job well, here @work i got a benq 19" which has VGA and DVI input. the DVI does perform much better than the olde VGA.
those moire-effects r now nearly eliminated, also the black/white balance is much better with DVI.

so it is a good decision to spend 50bucks more on a model with DVI.
also those dual-input flatscreens can handle 2 computers, which is a real nice feature.
