I thought the voice acting was / is great. Much better than most other games. And Morrigan is CLAUDIA BLACK, the love of my life!

I love Alistair's sarcastic comments every now and then. There are some great conversations between him and Morrigan too. This game is too great, will definitely buy.

Kate Mulgrew was amazing! Her and Morrigan's banter were some of the most laugh out loud moments for me.

Oh yeah, can't forget Kate Mulgrew. She did a great job. Perfect voice for the part really. This game is GOTY for me without a doubt. Can't wait to see how good Mass Effect 2 is going to be.

The game is ultra-awesome, I expected nothing less from the Bioware epic RPG specialists. The fighting is sooo fucking cool, I just hope there's more variety later on.
Are the enemies level-scaled btw ? |
Yes to a certain degree. Like 3-5 depending on your lvl.

Your contribution to quest for pirated dlcs is unquestionable, thanks. Even compiling that list to begin with...
But yes, further steps have been requested 4-5 times in this thread since it's been somewhat established that offline play with dlcs is possible.
1. Check if actual decryption of erf files on hdd happens after authorization.
Let's take Warden's Keep for example.
My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns\dao_prc_nrx_1\core\data\designerscripts.erf
Unauthorized file:
size : 10 280 bytes
MD5: 80CFE902832165C80A1025FE0103C8B9
Check if yours is the same.
CIF file to be sure too
AddIns\dao_prc_nrx_1\module\dao_prc_nrx_1.cif
15 666 bytes
MD5: CD467BC90701985545696D30019975DB
MD5 hashes you can get by using HashTab explorer extensions.
Now about suggestion to check header, people do that with hex editors usually, but you may as well open that file with notepad and see if it begins with E R F V 2 . 2(not necessary if it matches unathorized one by md5 surely).
2. Check Profile.dap theory that authorization is stored for offline play in offline profile copy.
My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings\Profile.dap
To check this theory logout from your account ingame/put it in offline mode. Restart game, make sure DLC on "Installed content" tab still says it's authorized next to DLC items.
Quit game, rename Profile.dap to Profile.bak, start game. See if it says "unauthorized" now.

The quest for missing DLC is intriguing indeed. Anyway if we figure this thing out that means no screwing us with future DLCs.
ps. yea Sabin 2.2 isn't good news. I think it means that game itself have some quick decoder that opens files when it knows DLC is propperly authorised. Anyways thanx for looking. If you find time, try second step from Proekan and hash checks.

It's not about erf files, authentication information is in Profile.dap, you can check at the end of the file there is list of all addons and after authenticated addons there is some type of key
CPU : Intel i7 6900K | GC : Inno3D GTX 1080 FE | RAM : 128 GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 | Case : Cooler Master COSMOS II | Mobo : Asus X99-DELUXE II | Cooler : Corsair H115i | PSU : Corsair HX1000i | Optical Drive : Asus BW-16D1HT | System Drive : Samsung 950 PRO M.2 PCIe 512Gb | HDD's : 7x ~ 28 Tb | OS : Win 10 Pro x64 | Monitor : Dell U2713HM

^^ Precisely.
As I said, earlier in the thread; I did a lot of testing during - and after - download of the legitimate DLC (which is why I resented the bullshit ungrateful comments about being "too busy to rip" or "not giving a shit and doesn't want to share" -- fuck you. I've done my part, a bunch of us have!) The DLC files are never touched, they're identical - byte for byte - to the ones we linked in my sig. The authentication comes from elsewhere, post-install, and if you don't have that "entitlement" in your profile, they won't work.
Yet
What I want to know, is how Bioware are going to handle DLC for people without home net connections? I think, perhaps, that if you don't have a home net connection - then you're SOL, as DLC won't work until you've auth'd at least once.

You know what? That I *am* willing to do. I'll PM my profile.dap to someone I know, and trust, so they can check it.

And also it needs a legit cdkey or addons will authenticate online at each start.

That's what I originally thought too, but mine doesn't mate. I, obviously, don't have a legit key -- and even offline, with no net connection, the game DLC still works.

may be it's because i have both authenticated and not authenticated addons intstalled but it stopped activating them online each time only after i used retail cdkey.

Has anyone figured out how to change your character's portrait? I got to the first town so now I am starting to get a party together and noticed that I do not really like the one I picked as it seems out of scale with the rest of the party. I tried making a new character and just renamed/replaced the new portrait with the old one in the save file but that did not seem to work so there must be some place in the save where it references the character settings for looks and portraits.
