because they have contracts so that the game is sold everywhere the same day. If someone offers the game before the official date, he either stole it or is violating contracts. I don't like this tactic either but this should answer your question

There is nothing illegal at all about owning a game early. If he bought it in a store, it's the store comitting the crime.

That doesn't amount to much considering the hype of Halo.. I remember seeing people saying the same about that mediocre game.
Glad people can enjoy it as much as some seem to do. Good for them and all that but that doesn't mean everybody has to.

If it is a Steam game then Steam installer must be completely removed and replaced with custom one and all files repacked. Do not download any clone or release that is not by the scene group like Reloaded, Razor or Vitality. Patience is a virtue.

What about Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 STEAM ENGLISH READNFO-TL release? In notes we can see "Both DVD's are in *.ISO format" Is it possible to download *.iso file from STEAM or someone created these two *.isos from archive got from STEAM?
