Definitely! Nothing gets through that shit! Except explosives of course. 
This shield is going to have a major impact. In a good way though.

You don't get a gun out with the shield, major difference.
Either you have to bash someone in the face with your shield, which rarely works out (requires 2/3 hits), or you need to make sure you're with teammates.
The shield is actually pretty sweet, I'm glad it's in there. |
