I bought this for PS3 and I have to say the game is outstanding. I have been playing team dm and it's a lot of fun. The maps are really detailed and laid out well. I am going to give the SP a try later on. So far it's been all MP for me and it is really deserving of the 96% score!! Looking forward to playing some seek and destroy. I also hope they come out with a terrorist zombie mode or similar to nazi zombies.

MD

Edit: I bought my copy at Walmart last night at midnight. There were over 80 people there!!

You'd be mad to do that just now unless you don't mind being banned.

lol, not because of the activation disc itself. Activation disc is a "safe" way to play wave 4 games. The reason people are banned are either because of the firmware or pre release play.

I didn't say anything about the activation disc. Playing online with modded firmware in general is crazy at the moment. But now that you mention it, I don't trust the activation disc either. I wouldn't do it.

Well, I should have asked has anyone used activate.iso on Live and have not been banned yet?

Just picked up a legit copy for the PS3. Thank god I wont have to worry about getting banned for playing on PS3.

Although I think my 360 is flagged, I'm probably never going to log on live again. Until I get a new box.

Owning both 360 and PS3 has its advantages.

How is that logic failed?

Most cannot afford to buy a new 360 for the sake of online play. If they already have a PS3 and a modded 360. Makes perfect sense. I will use my 360 for burned copies, and PS3 for online. Until I can afford to buy a new 360, then I can buy games legit for live.

What also helps my cause is PSN is free.

I agree live is much better than PSN by far. But at the moment I cant get a new 360 for live. And I already have a PS3. So for me it made sense to go that route.

I'll wait until February to buy a new 360 for online and legit games, just in time for Battle Field Bad Company 2.

Cool Face

Couldn't resist trying it on PS3 so I got it along with Fallout 3 GOTY for £55 in Tesco. Awesome deals lately Very Happy

I've sold 15 360 copies on ebay so far, making around £140 profit, not bad..

ATOM version was fixed for me, said it had a dodgy DMI but after ABGX downloaded a file it patched it all up and verified it.

Meanwhile Dagger and RROD release had to have both DMI and SS fixed before it was verfied

go figure!

Is anyone else having trouble joining games? It takes ages to find a game, and the majority of the time I have to go through every different game type until the matchmaking finds one that's joinable.

I never had any problems with the previous Call of Duty games, and Spec Ops works fine.

PS3 or 360? That is happening with the PS3 version at the moment. A new patch has just been released to fix trophies and I think it is something to do with that.
