Quick question, guys. Are these textures looking like they're supposed to?

 Spoiler:

Graphic settings are set to High (played on Very High a bit earlier, but downgraded since there's little difference but reduced framerates). The textures on the characters look fine, but some on the environment look really washed out? Look at that wagon, for Christ's sake. Am I doing something wrong or is this yet another example of the sacrifices PC games must make so that the same version can run on shitty console hardware?

Nice Very Happy I also found a reference to Baldur's Gate 2 in a document that is about Kangax the Lich (GaxKang as he's called in this game) Very Happy From what I hear on the Bioware social forums you can actually meet him in this game and he should still be pretty pissed and VERY tough to kill.
Apparently Bioware can't use the name Kangax as it belongs to Wizards of the Coast who owns the D&D world.

Read one of the set items description by inspecting it. It says what bonus you get for wearing the whole set.

One of the most moving ending I ever saw in a game.

I can, apparently you can't. Where did I say I was addressing you specificly? In case you didn't notice many people around the interwebz have been having issues that I can only contribute to user error. I don't mean to be a dick or anything I just don't like people accusing me of a lack of reading comprehension.

Doesn't make a difference on my machine and there is no logical explanation of why it should make a difference either. It works regardless.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to battle him (again) Very Happy I can't remember where in the game I found the document, but this is what it says: "The riders follow after every town, ever since my lucky break deciphering the story. I see it now, how they take the locals closest to me, preventing rest or kinship. I thought this a road to glory, but I am dogged at every step by his talons. Gaxkang: curse his name and the day I heard it."

I assume that you have a legal copy and bought the dlc at Biowares store.
To start Wardens keep quest, you will have to make a camp, do this by opening your world map and select Camp in the upper right corner. when you are in the camp there will be a guy you can talk to who will give you the quest (there will also be a couple of Dwarf merchants to trade with)

Ps. If you have the dlc installed with a pirate copy I can't help you as I'm not sure that it will work.

Wish fantasy game developers would stop magnetizing their character's backs already. It looks ridicilous that all weapons just stick to the backs without any kind of sheathes. How hard is it to make a slightly larger model of the blade and make them look like leather?

I've read it's very hard. There were sheathes in the early versions of Age of Conan and they removed them afterwards. There was an statement about this change. It seems to be very difficult and much work to make different sheathes for all the different looking swords.
Also they said that they had many problems with the animations and clipping bugs.

So in other words they're just lazy and can get away with it because it's the industry standard.

I would be happy with simple leather hoops that would at least give the illusion of something that holds the weapon in place. That way there's nothing that would cause noticable clippings and animation problems. Anything's better than magnetic skin on the backs of characters. Very Happy

Hey, I don't like this either. It looks laughable.
But when I think about it, i could really be hard and difficult work.
Everything sounds easy in theory.

It looks like they're respawning, but they're not ... it's just the game view-distance that makes it so you can't see the entirety of the enemy force on the other side of the bridge.

Just finished the game -- and it was absolutely fantastic! BioWare have crafted nothing short of an epic, the absolute epitome of masterpiece! 65hrs of glorious awesomeness Very Happy In my honest opinion, this is - and was - BioWare's greatest accomplishment. The game was truly spectacular, from start to glorious finish.

Definitely worthy of the paltry £17 I just spent on buying it (along with the £15 I already paid for the DLC)

Final Character/Party stats;

 Spoiler:

Every single possible quest, for my Origin, with the exception of one; Shale's story quest. I didn't have chance to start that, let alone finish it, because my DLC crapped out and corrupted on me. Gah.
