Playing it through on Veteran in an attempt to get some longevity out of the short campaign, but it's still relatively easy.. surely if they want to make it truly difficult, they should remove checkpoints, or make them less frequent.

nice, but still higher FOV in mp is considered cheating, a good mp game has servers that disallow that, this game obviously not.

Huh? Proper servers allow for ranges of FOVs between 70-something to 90-something, and sometimes even more. Just cause stupid IW locked you to some silly console number, doesn't mean it's cheating.
Or maybe the game is not optimized for 85 FOV. |

It's the one part I just don't understand .. the retail game is live, but Steam/Valve (being the cunts that they always are) artificially locked the digital version for an extra 2 days. |

Yeah, I don't like playing at fov 80...tired it just made me dizzy but I don't see how that's a cheat.
That's like saying someone who has a widescreen monitor is cheating due to him/her using 16:10 and not 4:3. o.O
