well, there are lots of bannings since the end of October...
and maybe this isn't the right thread but I today my 2nd box was banned - it's 6 monthes old, NEVER went online (and when i say NEVER i mean NEVER), always played abgx360.net verified releases....fuck you M$...

But you went online with it since it got banned? Or was it banned somehow with a offline update?
Regarding the game, is it better than the frist game?

The characters during the cut scenes are probably some of the ugliest character models I've seen in a game ever!
Gameplay graphics are nice but sheesh, what's with their faces in the cutscenes? They look mentally retarded,

Yeah some of them are retarted - especially the kid at the beginning.
Maybe they did it on purpose to make fun of Italians lol.

Great, I thought by now there will be some mini revews of the game, but it's just filled with bans and wave4 patching crap.

I'm having a blast with it, though I have to admit, on the contrary to what others have said, I liked the first one too. It's pretty much the same (as far as I remember it) but with some nice additions, like upgrades you can buy, a lot of storyline unlockables and little things like that. I have encountered only a few escort/race/checkpoint side quests so far, though I am barely past the beginning (I've been exploring, finding treasure chests mostly.)
Though some might hate the "Viewpoint" side-quests (or whatever the heck they are called) there are sixty-something of viewpoints, so it might get a little tedious.
But like I said, I am not that far, I still don't know about the weapons available (got a sword for a short while, but that's it) or the scenery changes (I hope it DOES change, I imagine it getting a bit repetitive after a while)
Also, in this one you get to play as Desmond (I hope I'm not mixing up names) a bit more than in the first one. Oh, and yeah, graphics are quite ugly compared to the first one on the PC. The characters do look a bit retarded, like someone else already mentioned.

so i tried the game 5Min and for now it looks a lot better than AC1 (even though I loved it) since they are now using cutscenes, GTA style, which is less boring to tell the story than standing in the front of that old guy in the castle in AC1.
Although, I think some guys here are right about the graphics being less polished than AC1, at least on the characters : Desmond looks less detailed in AC2 than AC1, specially his clothes that have less details.

I've been playing for about two hours and to be honest I'm beginning to feel the way I did about the first.
The frist was pretty fucking good, for the first couple of hours but lack of mission variety and too much repetitive gameplay was its downfall.
Two hours in and I don't really know where the story is going / if it's begun / or what, I still have no weapons and the missions I've done so far (deliver some letters, carry some paintings, collect some feathers) are a little dull. I'm hoping things are going to pick up.
I honestly don't know how Ubi could fuck this game up though. It should literally be GTA in medieval times.
Also, what the hell did they do to the HUD? I'm pretty sure the HUD in AC1 wasn't this intrusive or ugly (I know it can be turned off).

play a bit more. it starts off slow (and maybe not in the best way either), but it gets better the more you play. played the whole day now and it's essentially GTA/infamous in renaissance times.

Saying fuck you to Ms while you flashed your xbox is pathetic , you the one that broke there rules and then you pissed at them lol funny , no offence but when you flash your box then dont start crying when you get banned because its bound to happen.
Anyway ontopic , cant wait to get my hand on my pre order next week.

I agree with Shadow here you can't be pissed at them for catching you. Just be glad that not being able to play multiplayer is the worst thing that happens.
On topic I like the city design and crowd stuff (stealth etc..) it's way better than the first one and the upgrade system is a good improvement. I also felt like AC1 was sort of a sandbox of their tech while this one has decent story progression and motivation for your character I just hope it expands in scope a little although I'm only a few hours in.

Sure, your xbox was banned by using telepathy or something, it has to be online or MS can never do that.

he probably means he haven't played any games online, but its fucking ridicules to think it matters at all. Do you really think MS would care if someone paid for gold or not... don't think so. As long as you show up on MGC and got modded FW you are most likely banned.

I haven't played the 1st one since... well since it was first released, so I don't know if I'm imagining it but the character models look worse than the 1st, they have some weird horse-mouthed lip syncing going on that makes them look really unnatural. I also don't like the way you jump into the story as if we haven't waited 2 years. They could have fleshed out the intro a bit better, I don't like the feeling that this is "just another episode in the life of Desmond".
But, as for the gameplay itself, it definitely looks like there will be a lot more variety... the money system alone gives it more of a sense of natural progression as you'll want to earn more to buy better equipment etc. so I'm definitely digging deeper to see if its worth my time. I did quite enjoy AC1 in the end.

i did the first few ones, but now i simply can't be arsed to look for tiny shit on crappy quality pictures anymore just to unlock a little video that's gonna be uploaded to youtube anyway in a few days
