Exactly!
I just spent hours playing, NO lag, having a blast. 4 green bars is fantastic, absolutely no lag whatsoever, so is 3 green bars. 2 yellow bars sometimes has a bit of lag, but not enough to throw me off my game ^_^

What a load of crap. Everyone runs around screaming console port having no idea what it actually means. It supports every possible resolution, video card, sound card, has mouse support, textures twice the res of console versions, antialiasing, great optimization. This is a multiplatform game.

Well obviously they used xbox matchmaking system on PC and forgot to edit that error message to be PC equivalent. Doesn't make entire game a console port, it feels just like CoD4 when I play it. So it's as much of a console port as CoD4 with matchmaking and minus dedi servers.

Doesn't prove jack. By that logic every single UE3 game released on PC is a console port because UE3 engine config files have huge amounts of settings for consoles.

I'll repeat myself: People who find text messages from the Xbox 360 and claim that this proves it's a straight port have no idea what multiplatform means. What, did you think they have three different teams who develop indepentely the game for the three different platforms?

So true. The term "console port" is being overused to the point of absurd.
Maybe game publishers should hire some amateur dev studio to make a separate PC version from the ground up, like they do with Nintendo DS or Wii. Give them 10% of total budget (cos PC versions sales usually are at around 10% of total sales) and let them make a super duper amazing PC version with that budget.
Sadly we don't have an actual example to know if this would work or not. OH WAIT, we do, GRAW1 and GRAW2.
