Brilliant HL2? Ahaha, this is what I call lower standards.
HL1 was brilliant, System Shock 2 was brilliant, Deus Ex was brilliant, NOLF was brilliant. HL2 is by no means brilliant. Hell, even Halo was brilliant on XBOX.

HL2 is pretty, true. But how about gameplay? Its fun yes, but if you don't f**k around with boxes and paintcans its short. Those boring driving parts were way too long.. so whats left? Few hours of fun? Not much of a replay value.
I wish this game offers a bit more gameplay, and what i've read about it, it looks promising. I know, it's hard to invent the wheel again and this title is not going to be nothing more than a FPS. But how about some fun for a wee bit longer? Maybe a replay value? AKA value for money.

Considering the amount of effort and intelligence employed in writing that, I won't even dignify it with a reply.

i almost had a heart attack when i heard that.../ why the hell do many developer studios and publishers produce such a hype and make everyone believe the games are coming out in a nearby time?!? I would be more pleased to get a reliable release date instead of tons of screenhots showing a game i´m not able to play for a long time from now. That´s a pain in the ass....-remember Duke Nukem was expected to be released at least 5 years before today. I beg that that´s not also stalker's fate!

Mmm, well I guess it's not that bad. It will give them more time to work on the game. I read a preview in PC gamer and they said the game is very buggy so I guess, in this case, delay is good.

stalker is the next BIG shooter after doom 3 , far cry and half life 2 !!!!
so it should be good !!!
but FEAR will be THE best !!!

They´re trying to make too perfect game, so they´ll never finish it ?!?
This is hilarious (NOT). Last time they delayed, game was supposed to be 95% ready, and only thing left was to make AI (or something) work decently...
Now another delay...I´m gonna lose my interest to this game soon...

The German THQ News Page (thanks Frans) has word that STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, has suffered another delay. Previously expected for May of this year (story), the game no longer seems to carry a specific release date. No reason for the delay is offered, but GSC Game World's PR Manager Oleg Yavorsky gamely spins this announcement, saying they are pleased that THQ has given them more time to develop their upcoming first-person shooter.

it's all about the gameplay
look at punisher
looks like a shit game compared to whats out
but it has the enjoyable game play
