I tried that widescreen thingy, and on my system it looks the other way round, enabling the widescreen fixer just made the image stretched out. To be sure I uninstalled it and ran the game again and it looked all back in aspect ratio again.

Why nobody is asking about real Multiplayer Crack? Forums are dead, all the hungry gamers playing Co-Op now. We got the console, but still can't play MP. We need to keep spaming post like:
Quote: | "Did teknogods say they will do competitive multiplayer?" | or Quote: | "so guys teknogods working at MP or no? or only spec op will be cracks? sry 4 my english" | or Quote: | "ye, freezes my too, but keep up the good work !!! i love this...fuck those bastards !!!" |
We need to keep the rush, or everybody will calm down and we never gonna see the working MP FIX.

So much talk from IW that IWnet is going to make games more balanced, and yet it is total bs.
I mean cmon, it doesnt even balance the teams. How fun is it to get your ass kicked when you play 4 vs 7, and that happened many times where we were down on people by at least 2. All you do want is to quit but you'll be punished by not receiving earned xp.
And why doesnt it shuffle people after each game. I stayed in one lobby and every single time same people went on the same teams. and it so happened to be that the team I was on were low leveled people, and we were absolutely destroyed by the other team every single time. I thought it was supposed to pair you up with people about your own level, but no such luck. Every game there are people that are just starting, and then there are those crazy people with level 60 and beyond.
But I actually like that it doesnt matter what level you are, and it pairs you up with people of different level. What I do mind is that it doesnt balance the teams when somebody quits. Is it really that complicated just to shift one person from one team to another. Fuck, it could even be the suckiest person on their team, its just I wont have to worry about him shooting at me.
Game is great, but seriously fuck iwNET.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

Both CoD4 and CoD5 had that feature, auto-balancing teams when needed. o.O
And those two games didn't use the wonders of IWNet.

COD5 does. With mixed success, but sometimes it can get it perfect.

In game player number is incorrect. Here are real stats http://store.steampowered.com/stats/
I'm always able to find games in seconds, even at odd hours. Is your NAT Status: Open ? That's important, if it's strict might explain why you have hard time finding games.

After the update they changed IWnet behavior a bit, it now takes about 5-20 seconds to find a game, but that's because matchmaking does better test of your and other players connections. I haven't had a single laggy game since update, and before update I had a few laggy games.

In before Glottis comes and praises it as the best feature ever.

Dunno about best feature ever, but if people want to pay for optional bling type components and that funds further development we all benefit from then yes, it is a good thing.

How do we all benefit from it? If this shit succeeds, and it will with the amount of Xbots ready to pay up, half the game will be locked for cash the next time.

Micro transactions have been around for years and the gaming world as we know it hasn't yet ended.
It's not really any different here despite the drama.

is the PC version worth getting ? any server problems or graphics limitations ? can you set res at 1920x1080 ? i'm not sure which version to go for the PC or Ps3. thanks |
It's worth getting if you're fine with being limited to a matchmaking system where you can't search for specific maps to play with, where you can't set up your own server with specific settings/map rotations, where you can't even play all maps in every mode (for example, you can only play 5-6 maps in FFA even though on consoles you can play FFA on any map in split screen, and it works perfectly fine), where you can't see any ping (you see bars like on consoles), where you sometimes have to be frozen in the middle of a round thanks to the host nerd raging and the migration starting which sometimes fails and thus ruins the whole match.
Then yes, if you're okey with all that, then yes it's worth getting. Between the PS3 and the PC version, the PC version is obviously better, it has mouse and keyboard support... That is always better than a gamepad. |
great response thanks.
btw what about hackers aka cheaters any on the pc version yet ?
