Put cracked EXE + DLL in skidrow folder, run Steam, change username to include a space, run MP EXE. So complicated?

no it is not complicated, YET , still no go
am i suppose to see the game in "my games" list on steam ?

For those having the "steam must be running" problem,apply the Skidrow crack first then the MP one again and it'll work

No, it's just supposed to run in the background, the game will see it. Perhaps try cracking your steam? |

hmm just installed steam... what am i doing wrong
i copied over the crack files (mp crack + .dll) into mw2 folder
i installed steam and created acc. but the /Steamapps/Common/call of duty modern warafare 2 folder doesnt exist?

You don't need that folder. Just run Steam and run the EXE from the MW2 folder.

BTW, crack works with special characters as well, not just spaces
