Absolutely agree. Dunia engine have some qualities of id Software engines, good look (at the times, off course) and very robust and solid performance. And also, Far Cry 2 is much better game that it looks at begining, probably my favorite FPS (with Killzone 2, but this one is for PS3) in last few years.

Well, I'll try the demo, for sure. Looking at the media so far, I'm having a hard time seeing that this game will even come close to living up to this movie, which is supposed to be one of the very largest in history...
Correcting people since 2007 even if they're not wrong.

not really a fan of movie/game tie-ins, and the 2 or 3 screenshots i saw didnt lead me to expect anything other than the usual game-as-advertising result... so nah, not high on my list of omgcantwait releases... but if everyone says its fucking awesome and fun as hell and reviews are all reasonably solid, id be totally happy to play... it after ive seen the movie, of course...

iNatan, textures are so low in detail as shown in your screenshots?

Well, this is on maximum, so probably, yes. I went from PNG->JPG also, but don't think that will affect the quality that much.

It's not if you keep in mind that this game is also developed for consoles. Bad porting?

Well, it's all remappable in the options, but there is nothing else to remap to. There is no iron-sights or weapon zoom. There is a "scan" thingy on the middle mouse button, and it gives some information on the wildlife.
But yeah, it feels a bit consolish, but mouse works OK.

finished it in 7minuntes or so , killed a couple or so na'vi , well , the game is a decent Gear of War rip-off , controls are a bit dogdy , but it's playable , the game is quite liniear , stoll it's alright . seems like there are alot of vehicles in the game and like leo pointed out there is a xp tree , with superpowers and shit
but then come the vehicular part , the controls are extremely bad , the camera moves around like you're on a fucking boat on high water and it's annoying , some people will probably feel dizzy if they play a while. the vehicles move and just handle like shit , period.
optimization is nice , it'll run on an older rig quite well on mostly high details and res.
it'll probably be short , i messed around a bit but it ended quite fast... not Quantum of Solace fast , but fast ... what demos have become , i remember the good old days when 1 demo = 1 level , not 5 minute of fucking gameplay.

just finished it too, its kinda cool...yea pics dont look so good, but when you're ingame, the graphics are very nice cause there isnt much bloom...also nu stuttering at all on max so i guess we can call a good port
the camera when u drive the cars is awful

Not a lot of bloom because they use proper HDR with tonemapping instead of some silly approximations and "stylized" overbloom.

I bet it will be a lousy port with bad unimaginative gameplay. Trying to release a game together with a movie is always a bad idea gameplay wise.

Unfortunately you need a 3D TV hardware to be able to enjoy it, the red-cyan glasses won't work.
