@shittingaround - my friend with 4850 plays ok too, what's driver version?
Tomorrow are 9.11 supposed to be released, but I doubt that they will containt MW2 fix.

so, back from work and played a little hour now (and seriously, before i went to work i tried to check it out, just to see if it works and it really wouldn't connect me to a game  ) Anyways, now it connected me almost instantly. And yes i had like no (noticable) lag (as far as i can tell). I give you that.
Now to the game itself, and IM SORRY if i step on someones tale.
IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, mw2 has NOTHING to do with call of duty anymore (was that why IW dropped the COD branding ?).
Again i am SORRY if i say something that some , few or many disagree with.
In the , i agree, "little" hour i played, all i basicly withnessed, were a LOT of noobtubers , campers and a shitload of perk kills (chopper, airstrikes, harriers , missiles and what not).
I am REALLY SORRY, but they dumbed this game so much down, i can see why it is a best seller on console ... Halo anyone ? And i don't compare the 2 games by quality or anything, but by EASYNESS of playability with clearly the Console in mind and not PC.
Now i am glad they didn't added dedicated Servers, otherwise i'd have a 60€ (€ not $ !) spent in a game , that i seriously don't see myself playing anymore (or not for much longer, probably a couple hours just for the kicks lol).
Sure doesn't come close to MW1 (or WaW, Cod1,2,CS,CSS,BF2 etc).
Again, this is MY OWN HUMBLE OPINION and obviously may not represent everyones point of view.

MP works great with that crack thanks for that post!
Question though, anyway to add friends if you dont have a steam game? Seems like you need to have at least one steam game installed in order to add friends so that i can invite them to a game.

Just get this or something else cheap http://store.steampowered.com/app/32390/ There are a few places you can get freebie Steam games but you'd have to look around and find one.

The mp crack doesn't let you invite friends. I tried it myself with a friend. The in game 'Invite' button does nothing even if you have a friend on steam. I think we'll have to wait for the next teknogods mp crack to use private match feature.
If anyone still wants to test it out anyways, go to http://myzerogear.com/beta/invite.php
That way you don't have to buy any game but lets you add friends.

Yes it should find games almost instantly in any game mode except Ground War. Since update Ground War lobbies are very unstable with weird shit happening in there, so as long as you play any other game mode you should be fine.

soo I did not play MW1 but after all the hype, day1-chart-breaking-sales etc I had to try this. Needless to say I was really skeptical at first, because...well because it's a rail-shooter 
The Singleplayer is really great! When I saw a video about the mission with the snowmobile I thought "meh" but somehow they really made it work. It just feels really good. I'm not through the entire Campaign yet, but I probably will finish it, seeing as it is so much fun 
Multiplayer:
Now remember, I did not play MW1 so I can't really say if they dumbed it down or something, but I'm having a blast. All the 'little' Features like the Predator-Missile etc look+feel really cool. I like the weapon sounds, upgrades, iron-sight, everything. Anyway shelling out 30 bucks for this now, I'm sorry

No they didn't dumb down nothing compared to MW1. Some people claim hit boxes are a bit larger in MW2 but I found it to be bullshit. I played MW1 for 2 years and I even played MW1 after I bought MW2 to compare hit boxes. Hit boxes aren't bigger, but bullets do more damage in MW2. All other aspects of the game are greatly improved.
I think this game perfectly represents its title "Modern Warfare 2" with all the cool modern war gizmos and stuff.

You should get Call of Duty World at War from some bargain bin and see how better it is compared to this in all aspects of the game.

I own World at War and played it since release day. It's good, kinda like professionally made CoD4 mod, but not better than MW2 or MW1. But yeah it's worth getting WaW, cos it has huge amount of FREE maps now, but it's not worth getting it instead of MW2.

WaW has a better story then both MW games, and MP is more fun for me. Also, Until Arab Zombies game mode appears, WaW will have the upper hand.  |

Just a question about the MP crack, I'm running the skidrow release with no steam installed, do u gotta install steam to play in multi? How about the CD key, does it work with just the one provided in the nfo? Sorry if this has been asked

i would have posted this 2 days ago but i didnt have an acount with nfohump so i had to wait 2 days...
I bought my key from g2play and I waited 2hrs and decided to send them an email and 5min later i got a key, turns out the key was invalid so i sent them some emails and 3hrs after i got the invalid key they sent me a new one that worked
They slipped and pushed W when they should have pushed 2, simple mistake but i wish there was live support instead of sending emails
