It was a file that had changed, though I didn't belive it had. I thought the files had to be the same for everyone playing a mp match, but I guess not.

I've reached about 5 times..it includes:
| Spoiler: | chaos lord, bloodletter demons + the 3 doppelganger heroes. Aside that, the enemy can ressurect every slain hero so far - the warboss, the terminator, lictor.. it's madness.. i'm yet to finish this wave after hundreds of games |

Slightly off topic (WH DoW 2 anyway) - but....
I decided to go back and install all the DoW 1 and add-ons (Winter assault, Soulstorm, and Dark Crusade) before DoW 2 - as I never played the first one.
I'm totally confused on which patches to install for DoW and in what order.
- Do I install all the add-ons before any patches?
- Do I only need to install patches for DoW itself, and not the add-ons? Seems
that way from their forum, but why do they have add-on patches then too?
- etc....
I know this goes back a few years, but if you remember or have any advice I would be thankful.

WA wil instal patch 1.6 afaik and soulstorm will install over any version - same with DC
then patch it

Kind of like iNatan said..
base game>Winter Assault>Dark Crusade>Soulstorm.. in that order.
THEN.. you want to apply ALL the patches for EACH game. Relic used to have a lo-bandwidth page with all of the DoW patches and expansions on it (no bloated graphics) but it's been taken down for a year now.
Good news and bad news though.. the patches for each game are quite big.. but they are cumulative.. so all you need is the last version for each one.. wherever you find them.
Also.. as I recall.. I don't remember if some of the expansions install INTO the base game (DoW) but I do remember that some of them ARE stand-alones and require separate directories.. hence the need for separate patches as well.
I own retails of all of them.. so official patches have not been a problem.. if you don't.. cracked updates or NoCDs may be required.

Decided to play again. What's the deal with the patches and the sound problems I've been hearing about? So, for now, I have the clean vitality install. Downloading the 1.5 patch with the revloader, but I guess that's not the whole story.

Yea I've gotten their once as well and it makes the rest of the game look like a joke, I stopped playing after getting to this wave as without two coordinated people I know going in I'm never winning that round.

I have gotten there 20-30 times and not completed it yet.
| Spoiler: | Here's what happens, a Chaos Space Marine will spawn under the statue, he does Fireballs, melee damage and some ranged shooting.
Along with that spawns trio's of Bloodletters, they do some nasty haste-like charge and hit hard
Also ALL heroes dead will respawn, meaning everything from the first Force Command to the last Terminator, which means your 3 Alter-Ego's also respawns, making it virtually impossible if one of your teammates is a Space Marine with insta-rez.
Also the Bloodletters keep coming, the closest I ever got to winning was with 2 Eldar and 1 Orc, simply using Confuse/mass Confuse and having the orc act as a rez-bot, keeping the Chaos Marine confused as well as the various other aoe heroes such as the Terminator is your best bet at winning as far as I have seen. |

Aight so I bought the game (not know it was on steam  ) Put my key in and lets me go online and everything.
Now, steam keeps bugging me about using some other key that the game "requires" but theres no where to input it and it already lets me online.
Am I able to take that key and activate another copy of the game?

The other key is a G4WL key. Surely you must know what that means.

well ya, I installed it using the G4WL key, what im asking is if I can use that key steam is bugging me about and use it on another steam account |
