I agree IW are not smartest company,but it's better to buy from a "safe" store
than to buy key's that after a while you got banned.
Mine still fine,I just played Free for all.

Onlinekeystore and G2play are safe. They should have said or warned the online stores to not sell keys. And not come with this crap after everyone bought his key.

it remind me,I had an argument with a "'straitlaced" person in some gaming forum,he claimed the piracy is 100% bad thing,and is behavior is like that "game company's are good,hackers and pirates are evil"
what a naive one,I must say.
I pirate some games,and I have more legal games that most of the people on that gaming forum.

No, it shows that IW didn't think they were safe. Meaning that they weren't happy about the people who aren't complete idiots and know how to use the internet getting the same product for a reduced price.
That's like people not being able to use e-bay because they can circumvent the local dealership.
Or when I get back to Sweden customs takes away my spanking new shoes because I didn't purchase them in Sweden but bought them in the States.

You can change that in the cfg file. I think it's Modern Warfare 2/Players and it's called soemthing with mp.cfg. Find maxbars and change that from 4 to 10 and you'll get what you see on that screenshot.

Well, if you have 10 bars then you have a 20ms latency, 9 bars you get a 40ms delay and so forth and so forth. No bars is basically above 200ms....

Besides bars you also need to change the ping interval

You've certainly got more legal Steam games than me, lol. I've got a bunch, but nothing as high costing as stuff like SF4 and RE5. I actually miss my legit game collection... I had hundreds and hundreds of games (I actually bought a bookcase just to store them) but I was broke one time and desperately needed money (yanno, food and electricity bills...) so I sold them. I got less than £40 for over £3k's worth of games >_<
Oh and my G2Play key is still working ^_^

actually i think
cg_ScoresPing_Interval "100" sets that (1 bar is 100 ping)
and not how many bars you set ... just a wild guess here ^^

I'm not criticizing your descision, I'm criticizing that you said, and I'm paraphrasing, buyer beware. As if it's the consumers fault that they wanted to buy legit keys cheaper from a store that deals with this.
I mean, you'd use Direct2Drive wouldn't you?
They provide the same service as other cd-key stores, just that the other stores are cheaper.
Now I don't really know if the keys were safe or not but to me it smells as if IW are just being greedy and are banning people who are acting like smart consumers and removing the game from their accounts. |

What? I thought it was a region thing, i.e. they don't like people from US or EU using some cheap Asian keys and with these shady keystores that's what you most likely end up with.
