|
 |
My 360 was recently banned. if I buy a new 360 and keeps it unmodded and I also keep my modded 360, can I then use my HDD to swap between the two boxes even though the modded one is banned?
I heard that game saves from a banned 360 wont work on other 360s, but does that regard original games as well?
I'm thinking of buying a new one for MW2 and other cool online games, but I rarely play online though so I would keep my banned box for most offline games

You are kinda screwed. If your banned xbox was unplugged and didn't receive ban message then you could swap HDD between the two easily but now you'll need to uncorrupt your profile every time or something like that.

Just get a PS3 if you're not going to play online that much. Much cheaper in the long run as you won't be paying for Crapbox Live.

But if you're not going to play online, the cheapest is 360 because of free game, no?

thanks for your replies.. I like the ps3 but it's gotta be a 360 since most my friends has a 360, and they are the ones I'll be playing with.
So this is not possible:
I buy an Arcade 360 and modern warfare 2
I take the HDD from my banned 360, puts it into the new Arcade and creates a save file for MW2
Then I switch to my banned 360, insert HDD and continue my saved game in Assassins Creed 2
Doing so back and forth ain't possible? I mean does it even corrupt new game saves that has been created on the Arcade and from an original game?

backed-up games are not 'free', God has to kill 3 kittens (as opposed to 7 kittens for shop-lifting) for each burnt disk.

That is a price I am willing to pay.
Err... More precisely:
That would have been a price I would be willing to pay had there not been overheating issues and disabling of HDDs on banned consoles. (FUCK English and it's over 9000 grammatical aspects! )
