I've seen nothing that indicates that the game has been significantly changed since beta. You've been blocked and banned how many times and you keep coming back? if you can't learn how can we expect some large company to learn anything?

The beta had no single player component. It was all online. I've not yet seen the retail with offline, but I'm well aware of the speculation on what it does not include. The online game is mediocre, and thats being kind. If the offline game is only half of the online game, well.

City Life is by the same company, but back then it was all about making the best game, as oppose to now, making the most cash from bullshit. :\

Sorry to bring up and OLD topic. But there is a working crack + updates to latest version of the game posted on WBB that works for single player offline mode. Seeing as the planet offer for this game bombed, they've decided to cancel to online portion and make it a single player. To take place beginning of march sometime. But in the meantime you can play it just fine in offline single player mode right now..

So does that mean they'll unlock all the "online only!!!11" items and constructions? The one thing that kept me from pirating this, let alone buying it, was that you need to play in online mode or you lose xxxx amount of functionality.

time will tell, i guess, just started playing it as I never liked the idea of having to be online even for SP mode.. They bombed big time in getting players to purchase planet offers so that part is being scrubbed immediately.. SP offline is supposed to be effective in march, so will see if they add back those items you could only use online.

Read somewhere that they will release SOME of the online exclusive items for the SP part but for some you have to buy a newer version of the game or something to get all the exclusives.

So today the online portion was closed down and a patch was released to add the bus system to the SP part of the game. Hope for crackage now.

Yep, it was a very easy trick too. Someone on WBB discovered it, with command line commands you can make it think it is logging it to itself (or something like that, don't remember the commands now).
