The "dynamic crosshair" was in the original version as well, genius.

Yep, just install, copy crack and fix and play. It doesn't use Steam even if it's installed.

This maybe a bit offtopic but does anyone know what music is playing in the RELOADED installer of this game (same music plays in the King.Arthur.The.Roleplaying.Wargame-RELOADED too)? Is it something composed by RELOADED guys and if not who is the original artist of this tune?

'Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter' (ALL) Announced

Following in the tradition of The First Encounter, the game will feature all the insane action of the original game but with visuals beautifully rendered to current standards. Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter will also feature an all new Co-Op Tournament mode that will allow teams to compete with one another.

Problem with the Skidrow release:
When the first level of the game starts (Egypt), turn back and go at the end of the road. Two robots will appear and after about 10 seconds of fighting, the game crashes. So I think there is another Steam trigger or smth. That is the first secret of the game.

Good protection though.

Updated files, maybe, all but the All.gro file or what it's name was is included.
(It's 900 MB so uploading it would be difficult and it would be the entire game if I did, not much I can do as it uses so few files so hopefully it's mostly EXE data and the version number archive file that are actually needed, plus some way to emulate and run this until it's cracked of course.)

Yup, redoing TSE was in the plan all along, actually. After that, it'll finally be Serious Sam 3.

Genuine question: Why is JBeckman, in particular, allowed to post game files? Maybe it's not quite the same as posting scene releases, but it's most certainly well within "dark gray" legal territory. I really am curious if there is some rule that I am not understanding correctly.

I did post DLC stuff and many other things before but that wasn't allowed though these patch "rips" seems to be OK as noone has said anything but I've never thought much about it, files are identical and original to the version they're taken from (Steam only as others have proper patches and can be updated that way.)

Ofcourse as you do say it is a grey area similar to mods that reskin existing textures or re-use existing models, a good example would be for "Garry Mod" for Hl2 where content is ripped from a great many games but noone really seems to care much about it. (Even console game content gets ripped.)

Awesome, Second Encounter is my favorite Serious Sam game.

He posts links to game updates, not cracks or full games. It's like linking to a patch on gamershell or whatever.

It's not about the ethics of piracy. It's about the rules of this board.

Thanks

gosh, this game sucks. i played the original. there isn't much 'hd' in this remake. it's boring if you've already played the original. there isn't enough new additions (if any, i didn't noticed any) to play this 'hd' version again. anyway, i managed to force myself to sit through 6 levels of this uninspiring remake. i want my time back. Very Happy

The marketing is extremely clear that this is nothing but a graphical overhaul (and indeed, the graphics are redone from the ground up). They didn't intend to change or add anything to the game itself (aside from the co-op via Steam).
