Over the weekend a leaked early version of the DiRT 2 demo has appeared on the net on various download sites. I would advise people not to download this unsupported version of the demo as it is not the final version and will not give you the best experience of the game.
As I mentioned previously this is a work in progress version of the demo which was not intended for release.
Once again I would advise people not to download the leaked version of the Demo and hold out until tomorrow and experience DiRT 2 the way we wanted you to.
Finally got to play the demo...fuck you comcast for your bandwidth caps.... had a lot of fun doing the races. DX11 mode solid 58.6 FPS average in the benchmark at 1680x1050, 8xAA ultra quality everything etc...
Glad I pre ordered this because I think I am going to be spending a lot of time with it. I'm not sure how much DX11 really adds, but I think the game looks awesome. Can't wait for the full game
wasn't the PC retail version supposed to be released today, no scene release thus far..
Colin McRae: DiRT 2 Games for Windows LIVE edition supporting DirectX 11 technology releases on December 3rd through EPAC territories with a December 4th street date in the UK.
Only joking.
I was referring to the recent "Modern Warfare 2 case", when Activision banned some G2play keys. But don't worry, I'm 100% sure that Codemasters (and every other software house) won't do that
