pretty good game. If only they had amped up the graphics a bit. Right now it looks ok, something from the last couple of years maybe. Oh well, to stop complaining the game runs without any stutters at 1680 x 1050 on my GTX 285 on Win 7 x64

A minireview:
This game is really fun, been playing for a few hours now. Kinda instantly reminded me of Mafia. The voices are a downside tho, except the maincharacter, which is really good.
The german voices of the soldiers are totally laughable, they took english voice actors and let them read the german phrases. Which sounds totally ridiculous.
The graphics are ok i guess, nothing ground breaking. Gameplay is pretty good. It has native support for the 360 Controller (which i use to play it) and all the buttons are mapped accordingly.
The driving works good with the controller. Shooting is also fine. The Climbing kinda reminds me of Assassins Creed, which is a good thing. But its not as fluid nor snappy as AC.
Cant say much about the story yet, but i always had a weak spot for these underground/resistance/rise against a bigger evil kinda stories (i loved the old Freedom Fighters game back in the day). You can see that its story driven and Pandemic tried to focus heavily on it.
If you like games like Mafia and GTA you should definitely give it a try.
i would rate it 7.9/10 so far. Because the voices and the gfx could have been better. There is a little lack of "polish". But this game is way way better than what Pandemic did with Mercenaries 2.

runs great on the good old winxp pro , c2d e6550, 8800gts, 3gb ram.
game is fine, i like the atmosher of the old days:)
graphic is kinda dated imo and we seen better gta clones (so far played only 30-40 mins, but that's my impression so far)
it is certainly feels like mafia with is good:)

Same. I've been completely blown away by the art style and ambiance in this game. It's surreal. There's nothing like driving through Nazi held Paris while it's raining in black and white with an era appropriate soundtrack going. All this while in a classy Sedan and Gestapo uniform en route to shiv some Nazi scum!
My one gripe is the game's reliance on the seeming inexhaustible amount of structures to blow up. I don't think the white dots are ever going to end!
And the cabaret.....oh the cabaret......*drifts off*  |
I'm actually surprised EA took a risk with the soundtrack and visual style, as oppose to going with some stupid rock crap ala Gears of War. And I must mention the fantastic voice work done in this game, it is remarkable! At first I thought "well, here we go, stereotypical fake accents as usual", but they do fantastic job setting up the characters. |

No AA = No play.
Hopefully someone will figure out how to get it working (on Nvidia or ATI).
It boggles the mind why these fuckwits constantly omit this feature. It looks awful - jaggies everywhere.

Just launched it and it's working fine. Also got ATI Card - 4890 Vapor-X. One small problem: game is automatically localizded, which means I have to play in fucking Polish language...

works great sofar , didnt check the default settings
it's alright , graphics arent that great , controls are well ported  , but c'mon , no car damage.. at all.. and some cutscenes are moronic like the racer driver that pulls a fucking gun while driving , yeah , realistic shit ..

Just installed the reloaded release.... can someone tell me why the hell the crack contains so much files, even files that arent from the game ?
biggest crack ive seen lol
im going to play a bit post some news in a while...

Been playing a bit, feels like a poor mans GTA IV crossed with Assassins Creed and a dash of Mafia, but it's far from as good as either of those games.

All works fine here. Seems like it could be an ok game but I'm no expecting much after the hour that I just played.

I'm actually encoding a 5 min video now for YouTube. It will take a long time to upload but you'll see (150MB 720p at horrid upload speed I have now). Just because you can't run something doesn't mean everyone else can't either.  |
