strange mao5, you guys really think its another only-runs-smooth-on-nvidia game?
that would suck, I don't have a side on ATi or Nvidia.. think their both great and its actually been 4 years or so since I have bought an nvidia card again... before that it was always ati!

+1
What the heck with these 14yo nubcakes, even IF it's crack-related, without RLD you'd be playing Peggle all day.

Strange that it works for some ppl though, maybe it's a game bug, makes more sense.

I've come to the conclusion it's either ati related or win 7 related, or some sort of weird combo of both.

if not that then maybe I just fail at life lol, but, keep all the tech shit in the tech thread I made in the RIGHT SECTION

4870X2. Usually the X2 is the source of trouble until new drivers, but here it works good without graphical glitches. Laughing

Well, it was a complete driver package, so might have other fixes as well. Otherwise it's probably just 9.11 + a X2 profile for Dirt 2. Smile

Compared to Catalyst 9.11 it contains the most recent build of the CCC so far and it's a full package (Both 32 and 64 bit as well.) this means it'll uninstall the old drivers first and then install these. (Windows 7 can also handle this without requiring a reboot via WDDM 1.1) other than that it only contains a profile for Dirt 2 as far as I can see for the driver files but it's not exactly easy to compare compiled .DLL files. Smile
(Also includes the full package with the newset D&D encode functionality drivers for W7, Avivo and Hydravision although those aren't required.)

EDIT:
http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/GPU41-Hotfix-to-improve-Dirt2-performance.aspx

EDIT: There's also this but it's only really meant for the 5970 card as the current drivers don't fully support it yet, sort of a 9.12 beta but with a older build number.

Groovy, I'll just grab those then if there's any issues. Haven't bothered to patch in a while since everything has been working fine.
