Runs uber-good, too, 1680x1050 all on high etc. The fov is low, any tweaks ?
Weird with all the crash/freeze reports, I played about 2 hours straight, all fine until I lost a mission pressed Retry and the character was stuck in a weird position lol. |
played like 4:30 hours and had one crash while i iwas driving a car and press esc to view messege, coulden't get out of the messege and needed to restart the pc, but it was only one time after few hours of gameplay.
8800GTS here on xppro.

Beat it! Epic game IMO - although I don't think anyone is ever going to have the patience to get rid of all thousand or so free-play targets. The story at the end felt kind of rushed, specifically....
Spoiler: | What the fuck ever happened to Skyler? The Nazi's lost Paris to the rebels, why are they still there troop-wise? Was there an alternative to shooting Dierker? |
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

When I try to use keyboard in game menu, game seems to freeze, but sound is still going.
Does anyone have this problem, too?

Tried it on my 5770, didn't work, menu freezes. Or just keeps loading...and loading...and loading...
Also, I'm having an E8400 OC'ed and 3 gigs. Windows 7 Ultimate, the x86 version, just in case you'd ask.

What did I miss? |
Curious about this one myself |
I found one hidden in some ruins in the countryside, its the only one I have found though,

there seems to be definitly something wrong with the crack. In general, i can play the game fine, but when i receive messages, its like playing russian roulette with 3/6 bullets ... either it works fine or it freezes the game. Also quit to windows sometimes freezes game which then requires a hard reboot ...

Changing the name of the EXE enables specific ATi AI fixes and enhancements.

The only bypass for the freeze that I've found is to run with one core disabled. That's just pathetic AND shows that it's more than likely a crack issue/incompatibility, because disabling one core* was exactly how TAGES was bypassed on X3-TC for some people trying to load the clone.
It sounds to me like the freeze is a protection trigger and I'd be absolutely convinced of that if it wasn't for the large number of nVidia owners playing it fine.
*also artificially limiting CPU speed to bypass TAGES disk-check was another solution. I've not tried that on Saboteur yet because we don't have a clone/mini-image.

Id like to know aswell if its the crack or not.
because if its crack, i just buy the game.
Its on stores now, i bought avatar and saboteur was there aswell, on game stores, but i didnt buy it because i dont know if this problem is crack related or the game itself.........

It's be interesting to know if it works fine with the clone. Remember to reinstall cleanly, delete the folder to be sure, guys !
This is the only game where I haven't backuped the original files, too many files hehe ! I can't test anyway because it works pretty good here.
