This game is a joke, I mean, I know it is only a game and on top of that an action game so historical realism doesn't really matter, but some things are really just too fucked up. If they decided to set the game in ww2 Paris with a semi realistic scenery and such, they should at least set same basic story elements right. Instead you are freelly driving across the peacefull German-french border in summer 1940 as the WW2 didn't even start yet, German tanks look strange to say the least (they remind me on actual french heavy tanks), German soldiers are wielding assault rifles SG1944(!) in 1940 and so on. It doesn't help the immersion with all these little details all done worng...

This is the impression I got after just watching the trailer. I'm not even downloading this for free!

I just played the game for about an hour. No problems at all here, running Windows 7 64bit and an Nvidia card. It's a pretty fun game if you don't care about historical accuracies.

well it's ati drivers really, didn't evolve since 8x series Razz
still remember returning that ATI 8500 Pro after fiddling with drivers for a week and getting geforce 3 Ti at the end, even tho it was technically slower/worse it did run any game i threw at it and had practically zero issues

Yep, both ATI and AMD companies are nothing but fucking losers, cheating their customers all the way.

Not working for me. Got old AMD Athlon 64 3500+, 2GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 on XP SP3.
Black screen after the brightness selection on startup.
Tried changing the priority and changing the config file. Nothing.

So does anyone have a tip on how to "obtain" tanks? I mean I can't get them to leave the tank unless it's burning and I rather not enter a burning tank...

Oh and did everyone else pretty much bought the "collect vehicle" perks? I mean some of those vehicles is impossible to find. I for one did not ever find any bulletproof kaiser, a gestapo GS or the Armed truck trough out my playtru.

When people are saying that the game is freezing in the menu, what exactly do they mean?

When I try it, I get nothing but a black screen. I can see the intro movies, and the game asks me to set the gamma, but after that it loads the menu then nothing but black. I can still mouse over menu items and even click things, I just can't see anything at all. It's purely a display bug, it seems. I've tried everything I could think of and don't know what the hell is going on.

I'm on a Geforce 9600 GS with the latest drivers, which is also odd since everyone else seems to have freezing issues with ATIs.

something to try ... launch game .. launcher .. and select options (not ingame, but in the launcher menu) and check if resolution is correclty set ... in my case, it auto detected 8and set) resolution to 1600x1200 instead of 1680x1050

I remember having a Geforce 3 Ti 200 and the FX series was after 3 wasn't it? The FX series was even worse than the previous line. Was never happy with my ATI card 9700 Pro. I had a game that required an Nvidia card to run which sucked. I heard from iNatan ATI is coming out with a card Nvidia won't be able to touch. I simply hate everything about AMD/ATI, hard to explain.

So the problem is in the game and not in any drivers or crack. We wait for ea to give us a fix
