tried new super mario on dolphin

worked near flawless besides the odd fog bug in the lvl select screen.

But its just a tad too slow, no matter the resolution and quality setting and my CPU going at 3.6ghz runs at a constant 100% so i guess im cpu limited on this.

I hope nintendo brings out a wii HD with hdmi and 1080p support for the current games, on native resolution the game looks so bad and i dont say that easely.

Might be a total stupid question to ask but I recently tried playing Zelda Phantom Hourglass with No$GBA 2.6 and it run like waaay too fast any remedy for that?
I tried all emulation speed options and while some were a wee bit slower than others they all were still to fast :/

Really? Should've stopped using No$GBA then. Always thought it was the bestest. Well switching to Desmume did actually solve the problem.
Gonna use that one from now one.

You do realize that video is not emulation OF the xbox 360 but emulation ON the xbox 360? That's been happening since they opened up xbox360 development via XNA. Of course to actually deploy (legitimately) you need to be a creative club member. That's a lot of damn effort to go through to play street fighter on a 360 Smile

well, maybe now they fully hacked{at least older models} the 360
maybe emulation can now be done, but we still need very strong hardware
so I guess just more a few years to wait....

Yes, it *can* be emulated, why not ? ... now go play with your marbles Clcancellation, you're getting annoying with your overanxious posts.

And don't ask if it uses one-time padding !

Looks like the guys on the Dolphin forms have "Silent Hill: Shattered Memories" working full speed on PC! Very Happy

Alas, the flashlight effects aren't working correctly, but the game looks close to being fully playable.

Edit: Flashlight works perfect in SVN4664.

A specific instruction set for recent CPU's, older models use SSE, most modern support SSE2 and SSE3 whereas the latest models support SSE4 (Unsure about Phenom 2 but I'm fairly sure the majority of the "i" series pentium CPU's uses it.)

Later "versions" can bring speed improvements, SSE2 is more or less required today for a majority of games to function.

I'm sure there are articles and guides that explain these set of features and technical details much better if you need more information about it. Smile

EDIT: CPU-Z should show what your processor supports. Smile
(Freeware program, there's also GPU-Z for graphic card related information.)

Blueshogun doing great job,the good news is that seems like more people now helping him,
there is dxbx as well, but we still need to see how it will be progressing this year.

Dolphin makes me realize how slow my computer is. The newest build I grabbed finally ran Super Mario without the looping title bug. It's silky smooth. Just slow. Smile
