No. Xboxs made after aug 09 are unlikely to be easily moddable/flashable.

I have patched all of my games successfully..now I dont need to update to any new firmware..I will just keep 1.51, no issues, works great, plus Im already banned so who cares if its patched, as long as it works..but I do have an issue with Bayonetta..I burned it and it does not work, I put it into the xbox and the screen is just black and I had to reboot my xbox in order for it to work again..its the only game Ive had issues with so I don understand what the problem is..I thought that even though Im banned, I Can still play games that have not been verified so what could be the issue

im on 1.5.1 and banned too. And i don't have have any problems with the game. I patch my games with abgx with some wave 3 files. But this games is already wave3.

That's the one I downloaded..perhaps it was just a bad burn, I can try it again..even though its PAL it still works on USA consoles correct?
Even though I was banned I ran it through abgx but it did not verify, but everything else was fine..I will try burning it again

If anyone is interested the v1.6 firmware series for all drives have been non-stealth-ified. (hitachi works like this already on 1.51)
It doesn't have checks so it's as if you always have the "activate.iso" disc working.
The note left inside says "Patched to always act like if activate.iso was inserted, so blindly loads PFI DMI SS and goes on."
I flashed my Lite-On 74850C an hour ago from 1.6 to this 1.6 with no checks and it works as intended, boots all wave 4 games and probably bad rips too.

For the slower ones... this is not LT, it's just the same old 1.6 but without checks, good for banned people or those who don't connect to Live.

So what's the verdict on it? Wouldn't being "modified" mean it's more visible to MS and thus could bring the wrath of the Mighty Banhammer down on me? I've yet to flash my LiteOn yet (haven't even opened it yet, but don't both varieties of the LiteOn NEED the CK3/etc?) but at least I know it's not that hideous new, unflashable, one.

Nah, sod it. I'm not taking the risk - I'd rather use the Activate.iso for Wave4/5 games.

This is more for banned , Jtag users really. I have been waiting for this for some time so Im happy with this release. Bare in mind ixtreme 1.6 for liteon is not safe for live either, C4eva pretty much confirmed this. You can flash all version of liteon dirves now, the newest are the hardest and need tracks cut, wires soldeled , switch installed to activate vendor mode to get the key. The first liteons need a Ck3/etc with probe to get the key, other revisions before the latest 83850v2 / 93450 can be done via software alone

i really want to start patching some isos but i need to know if they will work before i waste the disks
