Unfortunately, EA prices their games to a frightening extent here in Poland. You have to spend over 35 Euros per single EA game, doesn't really matter if it's something new or 6 months old :/. Hopefully, DS has finally reached a reasonable price of 15 euros recently, so I could buy it but I'm not gonna spend so much cash on on dvd rom which can be downloaded 2hrs after it's scene release :/.
I sincerely hope DS2 won't be THIS expensive. I have grown fond of buying legal copies recently...

It's not really 'a mouse problem'. The mouse is working perfectly well, it's just that 30 fps is just too low of a fps for this game and makes it very slow. I'm guessing that even 40+ fps would make it perfectly stable and smooth. Wonder if EA even noticed that this kind of refresh rate is killing the smoothness. |
If you use D3DOverrider instead of the v-sync provided in the game, you will get constant 60fps v-synched (so no tearing). |

No doubt about that... 60 euros is about 200 zl in Poland which makes like 10 or more % of average wage. You tell me if it's a lot or no. For me absolute max I would pay for any game is around 25-30 E which is around 120zl. EA kills me with their prices :/.

Never tried that... Lack of V-sync never really bothered me that much ;=0, plus 100+ fps... the hype is real  . or so they say  . |
Hype is good and all, but your monitor can refresh itself only 60 times per second.  |

To sit , or more specifically ,sit back on my large sofa and play this on a 50 inch sony bravia , with a wireless controller , in the dark on my 360 quite clearly surpassed the experiance I had playing it on my PC , despitre highend graphics and bells an whistles of the PC version , the game was made for and delivered on the console .
This is not fanboy talk , I dont give a flying fuck if its PC , WII , 360 , PS3 or banging one out in the garden on a sunday afternoon , I want the best all round experience I can get as a consumer. be a fucker or be fucked I dont care m8

I hope this won't turn into flaming... But in overall they are, but not quite. You see, once i bought my old PC 2,5 years back it was capable of running every console port flawlessly. It still is, not in FHD but I don't have such screen either. X360 was much more expensive at that time, not to mention silly prices for most games (as mentioned - 60 euros). Comparing it to reasonable prices of the games then (25-30 euros) I preffered PC over X exactly because I could buy two or three games instead of one. Sure, playing X or PS3 games has this irreplaceable something which is mostly lost when porting to PC, but console games still kill any PC game with their ridiculous prices... :/. So it's not THAT cheaper, and yet PC allows you to do so much more than a console.

so I have a room where my pc is , at a desk you know . I also have a living room where my TV and various consoles are .
it might be possible for me to cable up my PC to my TV and , sort out a wireless controller so that it can connect between rooms , but seriously this is not a practical proposition.
The consoles have a convenience to them that the PC does not ,` unless you want to turn your house into something that resembles a server room.
As I said in the orignal post , I love my PC , I did not say the console could do more , for me games like dead space Gears of war , drakes etc have a cinamatic quality that is best enjoyed sat in front of my TV on a console .
if its FPS , deep RPG , or MMO im on my PC , but generally the 3rd person type games work on consoles , they just do .
Media Center PC's in a sweet silverstone hushed up chasis ? yes, a decent gaming rig in my front room , or a bunch of cabling between rooms ? fuck that.

i have my pc conected to a 42 lg, and i play my games using the xbox360 controller.
pc offers better experiences then console for sure, graphics lot better.
