Though some perks are bad in comparison to others, like the one where you detect enemy explosives.
LoooL...If u palyed HC S&D in CoD4, without that perk, ur a dead man almost every round
I was talking about MW2, I never use that park when I play HC S&D, can't say that I've been killed more than once or twice by a mine in that mode, and that was when I was getting a bit carried away with my 1887s. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad perk as such, it's just bad in comparison to the alternatives, for example Ninja Pro which I feel is a must if you have a more sneaky way of playing (not necessarily camping).
Ninja is sometimes essential just to prevent you getting pissed off with the constant heat-beat sensor whores in some game modes!

That and with ninja pro you can run around quietly and sometimes even get the upper hand due to stealth.
i consider myself a advanced amateur when it comes to computers (i make some bucks fixing peoples petty problems, install OS' or build entire systems) but i am pretty noob when it comes to this kinda manipulation BUT even for me it seemed logic that manipulation in a pure p2p network was rather easy ... as in, easy to cheat the main server. guess i was right ... Its like playing Open bnet diablo2 and modify your own character ... basicly
Is there any way to make any of the releases ( Razor or Skidrow ) 3xdvd5?
I don't know if it is possible with this game, but with some games you can just divide the game up on 3 discs. Burn all the "small" files on each disc, and then separate the big files on the other discs. When you install the game, it will say file not found and then you can just insert the next DVD.
Just try it out, make .iso files and mount them, so you don't have to waste any blanks
also neat tip: renaming the miles folder to anything else disables background music ingame. So now I can hear footsteps and other things a lot lot better.
being in a third world country like new zealand (), i have an utterly piss-poor amount of bandwith allocated per month before i get dropped onto fucking modem speed (w00t almost 2010 and i spend 6 months of every year on fucking dial-up speed), and well.. yeah... its taken a while to shuffle my downloads, but i finally have it. welcome to a month ago, eh?
so anyway... visually it actually looks really nice... better than i expected - gameplay is great. some shooters tend to get the feeling wrong, but its just right in this - combat is fun as heck. only complaint really is that sometimes things turn into a bit of a cluster-fuck. you have to have 360 degree vision or you get fucked up insanely quickly, and sometimes 'friendlies' look a hell of a lot like enemies, so i spend half the time getting yelled at for friendly fire but whatever, its supposed to be chaotic, so i can dig it.
high points so far: the snow level. that was a lot of fun, even though it was short. hope that the missions become more interesting though, because i did one with the fast food places... kinda boring, just running back and forth - hope the game can do a lot better than that.
final note: Russian mission.. yeah 'that' mission.. eh i dont get why everyone was making a big deal out of it. also it was annoying i couldnt move fast enough to get more of the action... npcs were getting all my kills. fuckers.
but overall... clearly 'realism' of any sort is right out the fucking window, but im cool with that - the trade-off is that the action set-pieces are really cool, its like sitting down to watch an arnie film. the score, the explosions, the set-pieces like i just said... its full on, a lot of fun so far.
