I think I'm about 9-10% complete and I'm completely stuck all this driving around corners blind is what is most challenging to me. It's like going to take me a lot more practice to get anywhere else. Switching from manual to automatic transmission only shaved 2-3 seconds of my lap times, which isn't enough...

This game is pretty awesome really. I'm not a big time racer, but this game has kept me quite interested. I have a 275 GTX, so I don't get the DX 11 love, but it still runs very fast and clean. I play with an xbox 360 wireless controller and the controls are tight and responsive I think. If you like rally cross and some of the X-Games style racing, then this seems like a good game. I really love the dashboard view. It really gives you a feel of being there and actually with things like the windshield wiper, make it very challenging.

Even in DirectX9 the game looks great!

I personally love the detail of the in car view. The only thing that comes to mind is, I feel the cars should start clean and as you go around the track get progressively dirtier. As of right now on DX9 you start dirty and finish with a dusting 'or is that because I can't stay away from the walls'. When you drive through a puddle the water never actually reaches the windshield ever, 'you can tell in the replays' it would be nice if the water looked more fluid and reacted to the physics of the car, 'like the toys do, such as the hula girl, air freshner, dice, dc sneakers'. I'm sure if this kind of detail isn't seen in DX11 I'm sure it will be something to watch for in Dirt3/DX12 Wink

No it really doesnt' even if you drive through a puddle 6 inches thick in real life at high speed you'd hydroplane before getting your windshield dirty. So the water hitting the windshield is just an excuse to use that awesome windshield water effect Wink

Probably right but, in game all the puddles look like they are 6 inches deep or less and wouldn't result in the water effect on the windshield, but it's a damn good effect at that Smile

Ci2e is correct.
As seen in the video only when car was almost completely stopped some drops got on the windshield. At high speed it all goes to the sides

Just using the standard stuff that came with the game. It wont work at all now and neither will Batman.

No big deal at the end of the day as neither of them are that great Smile

I updated to 3.2 and all of my GFWL games work exactly like they did before, nothing's changed. I can still login to my offline profile in games where I didn't enter the key, and I can log in to online profile in games where I did enter the key.

I troed an older one and it's the same thing. I don't know what's happened but neither DIRT or Batman will load without asking for a key - lame.

I think I know what happened to you. After you did fresh install your GFWL settings were reset and "automatically sign in" got unchecked. You need that checked and then it won't ask you for keys, will just automatically use your account in offline mode Wink

Oh I don't know if it's possible to do in offline mode. If you have a legit GFWL key you need connect from some other game while in online mode, then enable auto sign in, and auto sign in will keep working in other games in offline mode.
