Yes, because I was a little upset, just like 1000s other people, when they announced a sequel 6 moths after I paid full price for L4D1. Since then they released lots of freebies and my opinion changed. Big deal huh?

I just like to counter some of pretentious people here who think they are untouchables and their opinion is somewhat superior. Makes them do crazy things, such as nerd rage and dig up 6 moth old quotes

Or a 3rd thing: that was my opinion before L4D2 was released and before I played it and I'm man enough to admit that I was wrong and I don't need to keep deluding myself and others.

Cool story, except when L4D1 came out lack of server browser was considered major game breaking issue by many people. Then they add it and suddenly you don't need it any more? Make up your mind.
BTW, L4D1 got these things for free: survival mode, new campaign, all maps for versus mode, and of course tons and tons patches with bug and balance fixes.

Obvious or not, majority of games nowadays don't get patched at all. Just look at Borderlands, 1 half working patch after such a long time.

Beside that game, I can't think of one other game that's come out lately that hasn't been patched (besides MW2 but that game is fail in general). Which are online games btw... |

Yeah, all maps for VS doesn't really count. If anything we should be annoyed they released an unfinished product then started working on the sequel.
