I'll stick to Battlefield 2 til then, also just started playing Assassin's Creed again patiently waiting for the sequal on pc, I think I'm more than half done with the game after one night, trying to leave all the challenge missions for last this time so I have something to do after I beat the game. I think I might have to upgrade something for Bad Company 2 aswell too bad I won't know for atleast another month or so...

I'm still rocking an 8800GTX here, looks like upgrade time is upon me.
I have 8800 GTS 640 mb, runs everything silky smooth... I have yet to encounter a game (that is optimized properly, ie not GTA IV) that runs under 50 FPS....

What resolution? Going to replace my old primary monitor (19 inch 1440x900) with 24 inch 1080p one. Running 8800GT, hopefuly it will run reasonably smooth until Fermi arrives and/or new Radeons price drops. 5850 Availibility aside, price is way too high for a card that is not even twice as fast as 2yo 8800GT.

Looks great. Patch for the old 2142 is also announced.
.... somehow stupid to release 1943, bc2 and a patch for the old bf2142 at more or less the same time lol
Also they are working on MP part of new MoH DICE must be overwhelmed
Where the fuck is PC version gameplay? So far all their "love" for PC fans was talks and more talks. In reality we yet to get any PC version footage and PC beta is delayed.
Been paying the Beta to death on the PS3 & loving it compared to MW2 which has a total of 6 hours online playtime since purchase this has several days of online playtime, cant wait till March to come around, I Have just built my own PC & put my ATI HD3870 in so when march comes around Im looking at a HD 5870 as well
think I would still get a 5870 even if nvidia bring out a better card,Just ATI card seem better value for money,If money was no cost i suppose I would go for the 5970,although saying that I would like nVIDIA to get off the crapper soon though as It may mean I get my ATI 5870 card even cheaper
Word! Even if nViDiA does come out with something better it will make the 5970 a budget deal and possibly cheaper than it is right now. Although if nViDiA's answer is something far superior (judging by what I've heard so far unlikely) it will make for a interesting decision. More features + performance for more money or the next of kin the already praised 58xx + with the flickering problems to boot.
I think powerelds might have solved that problem though not sure
