My 1st release psx can play copied games, but it looks like the ps3 can play copied psx games as well.

Is there a good guide in burning downloaded iso files properly for the ps3?

I dunno.. I saw some posts that claimed they could burn then successfully.. thats why I asked here.. I figured someone here would know.

I do know discs I burned 5 years ago won;t work in the ps3, but burning technology has improved vastly since then.

what i saw till now the only vids and stuff available are fakes. I don't think the technology change is the problem with playing 5 year old discs. Most discs i burned more then 5 years ago don't work anymore because of aging. Copys won't last as long as originals.

Only some i wrapped in plastic are still working.

Empty again Sad

I've seen torrents and usenet iso files available all over the place.. I figured playing some of my old favorites would be nice again.

I still have some of my old original discs, and then games play fine, but it would be nice to download, say, wipeout, burn it and play it again.

Why don't you emulate them on PC ? Or use your old console.
